When comparing the programs, you leave out the fact that since the early 2000s, OSu has been paying players on the level of the warm weather schools, and that is a fact. And if you take that out then Mich would be ahead in evey comp you state. Even with the 2 big runs OSu had the only lead by a handful of match up at most.

I gotta say for me it’s like this if we are gonna talk history let’s talk about it but let’s not just cherry pick time periods to fit are narrative. Now with the SIGNS I could care less when you watched the ball game Michigan pretty much running student body left student body right, missed tackles, blown coverages, bad play calls, shitty pass attempts and the list goes on I would say are more likely the reason Ohio has lost the last three years just sayin my opinion I know we would all like to put tinfoil hats on are head and act like the past three years didn’t happen. Just like I will always count the season Ohio got robbed of why I SEEN the game we played it was a damn good ball game we lost just like the jt was short thing yes do I have opinions on having 3 refs from the state of Ohio 🤷🏽♂️ it don’t matter now. Regardless this is the best rivalry in all sports GO BLUE〽️🏆🍻 see ya boys in November

I know a lineman from my hometown that was at Ohio state during the JK Dobbins years and he said Dobbins left Ohio state a millionaire and that the first day he (the lineman I know) was on campus they had a banquet or dinner or something and a donor came up to him and hands him an envelope with a congratulations card in it and in the card was $500. That just what he told me so idk why he’d lie to me about it but take it for what it’s worth:

Michigan played its worst game vs Bama and still won …. Yes Bama had a part in that .. but missed FG , bad PAT .. JJ had t two passes batted down that would’ve been like 60 yard plays … Semja Morgan dropped a wide open 3rd down , he had an angle , most likely a long TD

The Big Ten is not interested in any ACC school unless it can be proved to increase the income of each existing members share of the pie by a significant amount of $$$! The Big Ten is after the big TV markets more than a particular schools current football reputation. They also pride themselves on having strong academic reputations and all existing schools are members of the AAU which has higher recruiting standards than Florida State. As an Alum of a Big Ten school, we already have more than a full schedule of quality teams to play from the East Coast to the West Coast. Trying to expand the schedule further is logistically near impossible and not conducive to the quality of higher education. I could be wrong, but if I were an ACC school, I would look to the SEC as a better fit regionally and academically. I would be surprised if the Big Ten will tear up the current contract which will pay each member upwards of a 100 million annually to take a chance on any ACC school, especially Florida State.

The BIG academic argument is stupid. The SEC has 5 schools in the top 20 based on that same ranking (UF, Vandy, Texas, TAMU, UGA). Great academics are everywhere. SEC has no interest in Miami. They even know it, so it’s BIG or bust for them.

Regarding Michigan qb 40 times - many don’t realize Tanner Mordecai did a 4.4 40 at his pro day. His stats were down, but he broke a finger and missed time. Also, he had a bunch of long balls dropped. Anyways, Steve’s comment about the qb 40 time made me think of it.

FSU and Miami both going to the Big 10 makes more sense... and as a Nebraska fan, who hates Miami, it would be fun to play a team we dislike. I still consider miami and colorado as our worst/nastiest rivals in my lifetime. There were brawls in lincoln in the 2010's when we played miami.
