What else can be added to this progression? I mean I like it but I kinda want it to go somewhere else , if anybody has an idea I would appreciate it , thanks.

Gmaj7 to Cmaj7 is the I and IV of a G major. So there's 5 other chords you could play with! Am7, Bm7, D7, Em7 and F#m7b5. Hope this helps!

Okay, only thing is, he plays this claw finger style (like Sunny War plays all her songs). Means, you‘re only gonna use your thumb and index! Let the thumb do most of the walkin‘.❤

@@RobbyMillerPageYou got to check this out, the flow is more natural this way, kind of a forward motion... It's actually a little easier to play. But of course play however you want.

Awesome tutorial (both part 1 and 2). Love how you take it step by step but tie the whole thing together as you go along.

Thanks for making this available. I am taking a songwriting class online , but my guitar skills are rusty, so I am going to try something with your backing track.

most pop music these days never use this chord progression, you only hear this in 1970s 1980s and 1990s music

My friend. If you would have made it to only around the 49s mark you would have heard me explain that Kurt tunes up a semi tone, hence the reason for using a capo if you don’t want to do that. I will say though I found your KZbin comment poetic and rather beautiful.
