Just an FYI, your closing the top and bottom of the bag wrong. I too have this bag and the top and bottom rolls are meant to be secured by the 2-straps of each side of the bag. So basically the roll gets turned to the side of the bag, not turned up as you show it. Hope that helps.
@withPercy
@withPercy 19 сағат бұрын
You are correct! I originally thought the “side” buckles were actually for affixing it to a sissy bar because they came across the back of the bag and weren’t centered on the side. I have other roll top bags as well and had expected that it would click into side buckles. Thanks for pointing that out. I’m about to do a 10k mile update on the bag and will point that out. Thanks!

@being here now, with percy : A little late on an old vid, but hope you see and respond. Appreciate your content as I'm converting my own 27k channel over to a motovlog/lifestyle vlog channel, and I'm just crossing the "want to record my cardo" bridge myself. Question is: If you are breaking the audio into L and R channels, does that not affect the overall sound quality? The engine and ambient sounds coming into the GoPro as just mono? Thanks.
@SaltyOldGamer
@SaltyOldGamer 13 күн бұрын
I answered my own question trying this out. You are losing stereo sound, so I guess you just have to separate the channels and make them both double-mono-LR. I'll give it a go and it's a small sacrifice to get all the cardo chat recorded with the lav mic. Thanks for putting this together. But omg all the cables... 🤣

Thank you so much Percy for your willingness to share your genuine opinion with your audience about this very important topic of keeping meds at the right temperature. We watched the video until the end and we cannot wait to watch your upcoming uploads in the next few weeks! 😀 Lastly this is for all the people that watch this video and are planning to buy any of the coolers that Percy suggested: Please make sure to follow these steps each time you insert the Biogel Pack in the freezer, and after you take it out. Before you insert the Biogel in the freezer, make sure to shake it up and down so the Gel inside is not concentrated in one area. Freeze the blue gel (Biogel Ice Pack) for a minimum of 6+ hours in advance, if you want, you can leave it in the freezer. When you want to use it, take it out of the freezer and put it in lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes before use, so the Biogel-Ice Pack reaches its own minimum temperature of 36°F/2°C and doesn't carry the temperature of the freezer in which you froze it up. These are the proper steps to freeze and use the Biogel Ice-Pack. If you have any questions please leave a comment on this video or reach out directly to us on our website, and we will be happy to help you in regards to our products. Thank you once again Percy, we wish you a safe and beautiful trip! 🙌🥂

Not a diabetic, but I had some meds years ago that had to be kept cool when traveling. I ended up buying a 12v cooler/warmer that I kept in the car, plus had an adapter that I could bring in to a hotel if there was no fridge available/broken fridge situations. This would have been more ideal.

@@withPercy I am still waiting on the delivery of mine so I have no real question as yet. But as someone who had a WHIM jumper installed so I can use CarPlay and with Cardo Edge Headset the biggest hassle is the switching from CarPlay to Edge issues and no way to rectify using the toggles. Have to touch the phone which is cumbersome and not real safe. My whole reason for the V2 is for the connectivity and control of the headset. The rest of the amps and speakers was me going overboard..🤣🤣

@withPercy
@withPercy 23 күн бұрын
I've only been in a light rain so far so I can't tell how effective it is in a downpour yet. But I'm heading out later this week for a 5 week trip and I fully expect that I'm going to get drenched at some point. ⛈️ 😂 I'll post an update after that happens. I will say that I was in a situation last week in the mountains where I would have expected the visor to fog a bit. It did not. So I'm pretty sure that the Cat Crap is effective.

I gave up on all of it. I run google maps on my phone and listen to music in my helmet via Cardo. I will use the onboard nav to get me home on occasion and I do like the gas station/ Harley dealer option. Occasionally we will not have cell signal and it comes in handy... I can't justify the cost of the SoundStream right now. Pre Harley, I always used the aforementioned set up so it works for me for now. Please do a video once you get it installed and give your thoughts. I am curious. 2022 Road Glide Special
