We’re going to miss you, Liz! I’ve been a follower I believe since 2012-2013 that I can remember. One of your videos was the 1st ASMR video I had come across. My daughter who is now 15 use to always ask for the peaceful whisper and she started videoing herself on her iPad tapping etc. it was so cute! It helped us both sleep and relax especially with her anxiety! I feel like I’ve watch you grow up as well, it’s been a pleasure! All the best for the future, Love Chantelle & Attayah from Australia ❤❤

Hello, from Cape Town, I think I was one of your first 1000 subscribers. The close-up of your hand picking something up was just amazing, I think I have a hand fetish or something. If you don't want to continue with ASMR videos, then make videos of what you like. If it doesn't make you happy. . . don't do it. You have a massive following, just continue to upload videos of your life, tell us a story of everything.

Liz, I literally grew up watching you. I was 12/13 when you started your channel. I’m about to be 24 now. You were one of my fav ASMRtists from the beginning (and probably always will be 🥲) I wish you so much happiness and luck, and thank you for the memories! 🥹🫶🏼

Thanks for decade+ of peaceful content Liz! You rock. Still rewatching a lot of your older videos because they’re blissfully ad-free, unlike most ASMR videos currently. Binging Ghost Adventures this weekend in your honor 😉 thanks and take care!

😢truth. A majority of stuff i see says ASMR, even when it doesnt have anything to do with it. And we wont even talk about the OF creators that list their stuff as ASMR. You will be missed.

Your hair brushing video was THE first ASMR video I had ever watched. I one day thought to myself "I wonder if there's a video of someone getting their hair combed" and your video was the only (or first) one to pop up as I searched it. Then I learned what ASMR was, I binged all your videos, and it was amazing. You have a hold on my heart with nostalgia when I think of the simple days of hair combing vs the millions of asmr videos with these specialized microphones and various changes. I'll never forget it. Thank you for all of your wonderful content throughout the years. I wish you nothing but the very best in life and in all of your endeavors! 🥲🫶

As a Norwegian I'm happy(embarrassed?) to tell you that I first discovered you in your ASMR video with that old library book about Norway 10 years ago :D And it actually remains one of my all time favourite ASMR videos that I keep coming back too, not because it's about Norway obviously but because it's just one of those videos that was a perfect fit for my ASMR. Anyway, hope you're doing well and keep making videos :)

What an incredible story. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Nothing can replace the ones we lose along the way, but it's great you kept an eye out for those that can join you for the next leg of the trip. I feel like as much as you saved Fred, I think he saved you just the same. I've enjoyed the heck out of your videos for YEARS so keep up the great work!

I've seen a lot of the original ASMR creators come and go; but VERY few of them exited on a note that I could entirely understand (not that my understanding is necessary in any way). The whole "it just isn't the same anymore" thing i 100% correct. It's huge now and with youtube the way it is nowdays, it's such a spammy, formulaic slog for those left doing it and the new people as well. Additionally, having watched a dozen or so of these 'farewell' videos as far back as the mid/late 2010's, I can say that hearing it from you was more impactful than any of the others. One of your early uploads was the first asmr video I ever saw; I thought it was weird at first but after literally just a few days I found myself going back for more and soon after that, sprawling out my search a little more to find other creators. You really are the absolute first wave! Such a cool thing. Anyway. Be well out there. Side note: I would 100% enjoy random vlogs or a pivot of some sort to different content. You'd still have my attention.

Liz, I don't usually comment on videos. It's rare, if ever, but this is one of those times I need to. My lurking dates back to the beginning, not just the beginning of your channel, but to the beginning of ASMR. Of course, it was just the whispering community back then, and what a special community it was. That community was more than just the pioneer of modern ASMR, it was one of the earliest places to provide (what was to all intents and purposes) mental health support. Content creators and viewers alike, genuinely cared about supporting each other and giving back to the community. To that end, I agree with everything you've said, and it's so sad to me that our happy little corner of the web didn't survive the modernization of the internet - where everything revolves around monetization and clout. Anyway, I just wanted to say, thank you for being a small (but significant) piece of my life for all these years. In times gone by you, and those like you, really kept me hanging in there. You'll be missed, but never forgotten, and from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the happiness life can bring.

The fact that people regard you as the queen of asmr is one of the biggest compliments one could receive. The change of people's interests is only natural, like a river flowing its way, or a little bird finding new grounds. Please take care and do what you love. 🙏
