My family’s favorite restaurant when we’re in Tampa. Bought the cook book for my mom and my daughter. The only issue is the books don’t contain the recipes for the Salmon “Aurora” or the Salmon St Yago which are the favorite dishes from the restaurant. Where can I find the recipes for these? I'm Cuban and that's far from what Cuban food is, it's more of a mixture of American food and inventions with a Spanish touch, I'm amazed that she doesn't speak Spanish, Latinos lose our identity very quickly here in the USA and Spanish Only 3 generations are lost and they no longer speak Spanish, although that is currently changing

I grew up in Tampa but live in North Carolina now. So glad that I found this video because this recipe hit the spot! Amazingly good! Thank you! I think I know your secret here. You are claiming to make Ybor chicken and yellow rice, but the product and recipe is much more similar to the dinner menu option of ‘Arroz con Pollo “Valenciana”’ Just needs the white wine! This came out far better than I expected. Thank you again!

We ate here back in October. It was fabulous! The 1905 salad was so delicious and more than I could eat. I have a 94 year old friend who grew up in Tampa. She dated her husband during WW2 and they often had dinner at the Columbia. I called her from the parking lot and she was so excited that we were eating there. Brought back a lot of wonderful memories for her.

The Columbia is my all time favorite restaurant. One time as I was enjoying the Mojitos, the waiter gave me a couple extra sugar cane stirrers for my kids. A few days later I got a note from my daughter’s school that the teacher caught my daughter eating a stick, and told the teacher it was okay, her gave it to her.

My Family from Woodstock Georgia wanted to do something special for my 80th Birthday. So they bought me a round trip ticket from Los Angeles to Tampa Florida and we all celebrated at Columbia Restaurant. I'm now looking forward to my 85th and beyond. I'd love to see them open a new location in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills so I can become a regular. Sir Donald

Not only is this not a real Cuban sandwich they even have the Cuban flag wrong. They showed the Puerto Rican flag instead in this video

I lived in Tampa all of my life and never even wanted to go to the Columbia.. I just never thought it a great place to eat because Tampa has so many better places... and girl those painted on eyebrows... The Gonzmarts always thought of themselves as above the rest.... another reason that I never gave them my business.. I'm here going on 60 years

This salad is amazing. I tried it for the first time today. My boss took us to the Columbia restaurant today for lunch.

Have made this dish twice, it is AMAZING! so easy to prepare in one skillet and the taste is out of this world. Our family are huge fans of The Columbia Restaurants and I have been to them all. Best Salad of all time!

Da gracia, un sandwich cubano mal hecho. Ella comete un gran error para ese mismo sandwich cubano de ese mismo restaurante, de aplastar el sandwich en la plancha. Por eso cuando sale de la plancha da pena verlo. Simple, ella no hace los sandwiches.
