For anyone looking for a decent actual euro rod on a budget, the Maxcatch InTouch euro rod is a good look. 2wt/10ft and 3wt/10.5ft, after that you might as well look at a 300-400 dollar rod as that is the sweet spot for euro rods.

Hi Guy's help req'd... one of those req'd features google won't find.... I am fishing for Sea Bass from a high cliff 100 meters (110 yards) with no access down... I gotta reel them all the way up, dead weight n all. I know most reels will reel up the fish but here's the deal... when reeling in water and reeling a dead weight (2- 2.5kg - 4lb)... that's a whole different league of power, smoothness and build quality. Kinda the ultimate test of a reel quality you could say. I am hoping some of you Guy's know which reels stand out for this? An open faced reel weighing around 485-500grams (1pound or just over) to match my rod and allow other uses. Thank You Guy's in advance.
