You shouldn't put punctuation after the closing if you haven't used it after the salutation. This is incorrect. There isn't a double space between paragraphs there is one line space.

A professional or formal letter cannot have any hard returns, not for school and not a good habit to get into. so it would have been nice to see the proper way of achieving the spacing that you want for the letter without resorting to incorrect formatting habits. that will only have to be unlearned and replaced with the right way of doing it for a professional or graduate school paper or any job you're applying to because if they see all of these hard returns, then they know you don't know how to format a simple letter

Sumopaint got HIPSTERIZED now. It's glitchy, laggy, the layers keep glitching when editing. Someone up in marketing is a sleezy hipster and decided, "Hey, its time to make sumo look 'hip'' gotta stay with the times guys hickhickhickhyukhyuk." Now its looks like some post-modern super basic phone app that CANT do it's own basic function - EDIT SHIT. Sumo has lost all of my respect and I'm recommending getting an offline program (NON ABODE) and just doing what we as artists can.
