I remember hearing this song on the radio in college (longwood university in farmville va around 2005ish) and I would never catch the band's name - pretty sure I have a mix tape or two somewhere with this song recorded off the radio. I always loved it, and I knew it was a cover but for whatever reason I never dug deeper. I also didn't know anything about the DC go-go music scene (and i grew up in rva) until I had moved and been living in Maryland for a few years. for whatever reason this song popped in my head today and I finally took the time to look it up ❤ a fantastic fun live cover that brings back memories of driving around farmville sharing a bowl 😂
