Hi there, excellent video and I have subscribed! I have a quick question if you don't mind: I have a 2012 Altima and it need an ECM and the service number is MEC112-130 B1 2313A but i can only find ECMs with the same digits except the last 5. Do you think it will work after I reprogram the keys and VIN? I was told the last 5 numbers don't matter but I'm unsure on what to do. Thanks again for the video :)

Hello I’m a new subscriber I’m working on building an 04 f150 . I will be installing phaser locks in the engine I have a previous truck that has a pcm with a phaser delete flash If I use that pcm and program will it retain the phase delete?

Awesome find. I got issue with 2014 captiva, with p0017 code which exhaust cam position not plausible, i gues this is it. It starts from 3rd or 4th time, and runs smooth, but vvt doesnt correct anything on exhaust side, new sensor which opens by command, working sprocket. The question is if crank reluctor misaligned there is no way it ever would start?

Brian, i see you had to use two tools on this vehicle. The GM MDI 2 ? and the tech2. Do you recommend purchasing both tools? I currently have a cardaq plus 3. Is the tech2 needed to work on older Chevy trucks like a 2008 trailblazer?

Hi Brian, It’s quite possible that the crappy Nissan software is to blame. A few months ago I successfully programmed a new ECU into an Infinity but once I went to perform the idle air relearn the software would crash. After a few tries (and a few crashes) third party tooling was used to complete the relearns.

That was a very good demonstration. I can see that the computer is always correcting to optimize the fuel trim. I suppose that understanding what information the computer needs to control fuel trim will be in future lessons. Thank you!🖖🏻

What if you’re getting 7-9V on between pin 16 and 4/ground. Battery is all good. Scan tool doesn’t turn on

Huge help. I noticed oil from the passenger side of my 2018 Equinox recently also. . No codes or noticeable drop in performance yet but I'm about 99% sure its the intercooler leaking. so I'll be doing this repair soon before it gets really bad. Seems to be a common failure point on these vehicles. Plastic parts for something that important doesn't help the situation at all. I have a smoke machine and will confirm my suspicion with it once I have the bumper off like you did.

I'm going thur this as I'm typing this, My mother in law has a Ford Eco sport. She just changed the battery in her keyfob! I have the battery disconnected because nothing stops it from going off randomly! windows rolled up all doors, hood and back door all closed! I have cleaned the latches regreased them open shut open shut nothing it still goes off! local dealership Bill Collins ford said it would be almost 2 weeks before they can look at it! crazy!

These staplers are great when they work . I took mine apart turned it on its side and everything fell out.. not a good feeling cause I didnt even get to see where things went. If you are dealing with a limp lever ( no resistance when you pull the lever)that wont fire off a staple you will have to shim the rubber piece on the bottom that he just showed . The hooks that actuate the spring wont compress and engage the flat spring under the rubber part. because the rubber part has flattened out you loose the travel needed. You can make shims out of a credit card or some sort of durable plastic shaped to fit under neath the rubber component. To keep things in place you can use painters tape or packing tape cause you will fight them to the point of bad words... hope this helps. PS Stanley built this stapler to fail and confound with their crappy intentionally bad design. You can do it guys !

We had a 2012 Sonic come in yesterday and it acted weird and no it won't crank. When you would move the key in the key slot it would act like it wanted to crank. It did that a few times and then it wouldn't crank at all.

Man thanks so much, best video i found i watched so many literally had my starter out checked all grounds wires, had fuse box out cleaned everything. For it to be a 2 amp fuse. Still wondering what made it blow. Guess ill throw some fuses in truck see if it happens again.
