Wow...Excellent in every way! I can't get over how much he sounds just like Marty Robbins!! It's like someone lifted the vocal track right out of the original recording. I guess all Marty's sound the same? 😂

I wish they would do a studio quality release of this song. They nail it. Every one of them does their part. Got to hear them do this live a few months ago. Just awesome!

Fantastic gig. These guys really channel the sound and the spirit of the Dead.

Sounds great thanks. Isnt there usually a 2nd drummer?

This was the first country song that I remember my Dad playing on our old record player in the mid 60's. Always loved the guitar in it. Kenny nails it! Love these guys! Thanks, Marty ....for keeping real country music going.

In the EARLY 80'S dad played Marty's GUN FIGHTER ballads on the "real to real" player. It was an AKAI "cross field".... Sure miss those days.

What a beautiful heartfelt reading. I’ve loved that album from the first time I heard it. I drifted away from them a bit after Sweetheart. But, something about that album fit perfectly into my wheelhouse at the time and still does. I came to Marty and TFS, a bit late, through a Colbert show appearance and then going to see them the next night at The Bowery Ballroom. What a set! They were on fire. I made up for lost time over the next few years. But I never saw them do this.
