Your car is modified really nicely. I wanted to ask, how did you transition between the roof at the back and the driver’s seat area?

Отличный кемпер. Всё продумано. Много дерева это замечательно. Отдельно внимания заслуживает медный кран, электромеханический вольтметр и металлические переключатели.

Nice job! 👍🏼 My local wheel refurbishers shot blasted and powder coated my old Barton bench ends for £20 and I’m currently sorting out some new wood slats with Sikkens as the previous wood lasted almost 30 years protected with that.

Looks good, storage is at a premium so I would have put a drawer for the pots and pans since it is likely going to be a dark hole close to the floor. Switch panel looks cool but a head bumper in a small van - minor issues, easily adjusted. Nice job ❤

I love this for a weekend camping trip but this could never do for van life lol. I at least need to be able to stand up in it, even if there's no bathroom, which I couldn't do without.

Hello, thank you for the video. I just got the hammock stand myself. Would you mind telling me what’s the net you are using? Thanks😊
@WoodandWildАй бұрын
Hey MaJu0286! Yes, it's a fly net, its great if you fancy camping out in the hammock but don't want to be eaten alive! 😂 You can get a canopy as well that can hook on to the same tent pole system which is great when it's super hot outside and you need some shade

I love seeing all these micro campervans, it's amazing to see all the things people fit inside such a small space. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what are the dimensions of the kitchen unit? I'd love to do an eNV200 camper conversion one day, just need a better idea of what space there is for everything.
@WoodandWildАй бұрын
No not at all, it's 124cm wide, 40cm deep and 71cm tall, not quite sure how we ended up with numbers as random as that, must have been to fit everything in! 😅

Hello, i love your designs i have been binging your channel over the last week as I've grown passionate about the concept of upcyclying vans into camper vans. I also just find your style very enchanting. I am wondering if you have any tips for beginners for getting started on doing something like this?
@WoodandWildАй бұрын
That's great, thanks James! I was going to so yes, get someone else to do it 😂 But no, not that I'm an expert, but I think having a good plan to begin with is helpful, it gives you continuity in the design and also ensures everything essential to you is present and will fit. Add 15% to what you think it will cost to build, people forget you need adhesive, glues, screws, latches etc. Kreg/Trend woodworking jigs are a great woodworking tool for beginners, you can use them to frame everything from your bed to your kitchen units, be sure to buy a few clamps with it to ensure the joins are nice and neat! The almost halfway point when you're putting the cladding/walls up always seems like breaking point to me, but don't feel disheartened about how long it has taken, it'll get there eventually and be worth it in the end. Also, don't be disappointed if you make mistakes, it's all part of the learning process and best to accept beforehand that they will happen, I probably redid 1/3 of the jobs on my first van conversion. And just a few small tips, don't over-clamp bonded windows, remember to use a voltage drop calculator when sizing wiring, use a tough paint/finish for heavy traffic areas, ventilate, double-check your electrical system is large enough to stay off-grid if you intend to and ensure you have enough money left to actually insure it, fix it, and ultimately, travel and enjoy it, best of luck 😁✌️

This is a beautiful conversion! I'm currently working on my little NV200 too, so have taken some inspiration from this. Mild regrets on carpeting my barn doors now that i've seen how neat they can look with just the nice panels! xD

Congratulations on this great conversion. We have already grown fond of the little eNV200. We have also been on the road: Norway: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3_UaWukjNOjgK8 Croatia: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJ_VqJZvp66Mrrs France: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4ixfIBtard4adk Last week we went camping in Slovenia, video to come. Without fossil fuels, of course. We gave away our gas barbecue because we have an electric plate and it just fits better. I also have a question to you: Where did you find the swivel plate for the passenger seat? Best regards from the Lienz Dolomites.
@WoodandWildАй бұрын
Hey KorberRichard! Thanks for watching, just watched your Norway trip, it looks super cold there! How many miles did you get out of it during that trip, have you added any extender packs at all? Yes it's actually advertised as a T4 swivel plate that needed some adjustments. This is the one I bought - www.vanconversionshop.co.uk/nissan-nv200-fasp-seat-swivel-base-2009-2021-693-p.asp I have a feeling though there may be one built specifically for the NV200 a little closer to home but if I remember rightly it was quite expensive in comparison. Hope the trip to Slovenia went well, it's beautiful up in the national park!

The weight of the build does not influence too much the distance you can still cover with the van ?

Hey Didi, the fit out weighs 200kg in total so it affects it a little but not too much, I got 130 miles out of it the other day fully laden 😊
