My brother worked at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, and he also changed the flag on top of the hotel. Talk about a great view!

I'm lucky to live in Colorado. It's a scenic feast. Colorado isn't a huge state by area, but it is a huge state when you travel. Durango is an 8 hour drive from denver, and it's not an easy drive. My partner and I counted six mountain passes on our way home. That's some mighty slow driving. I'm an old Colorado boy, so I was driving like I usually do in the mountains, looked over at him, and he intimated that if I didn't slow down he was going to barf.

Santa Fe is best for adults. Albuquerque has a great zoo, aquarium, Natural history museum, children s museum, atomic museum, making it perfect for children , teens and adults. Meow Wolf, art, make Santa Fe great for older children. Love to hike and camp, New Mexico.

The computer generated narration is the worst. NM does have many unique places to visit. One missed here is the Rio Grand gorge just west of Taos about 15 minutes. Angel Fire has good skiing and is welcome relief during hot summers.

At the beginning of the video it is mentioned which are the neighboring states, Arizona wasn't mentioned. I didn't understand why till I saw a picture of Spider rock @0:43. Spider rock is in Canyon de Chelley which happens to be in Arizona. Please get your facts straight before you start recording a video. It's not nice to lie to people.

In the beginning (.40seconds) You mention Wheeler Peak (13,167ft) and Truchas Peak (13,108ft) and they are in New Mexico, however you show Canyon De Chelly, in AZ. I love New Mexico and everything about it’s rich history. I try and visit every where possible exploring new places. Top of the list is the volcanic drive up to Capulin Volcano National Monument, 2. White Sands, 3. Piedras Marcadas Canyon, 4. Valle Caldera National Preserve 5. Sky City Acoma Pueblo, 6. Taos Pueblo 7. Chaco Culture Canyon 8. Bandelier National Monument 9. El Morro National Monument 10. Carlsbad Caverns . Just to name a few…..

All these places are wonderful but if you want to see Colorado you will need to get off the beaten path. I have lived in Colorado all my life and every year I am once again stunned by things and views I find here. The head of the Huerfano River at the base of Blanca Peak is breathtaking and you can only get there by getting into the outdoors and off the highway. The north face of Blanca Peak is a 2200 foot vertical face from which many technical climbers have met their fate. The San Juan mountains hide some amazing places that many folks are totally unaware of. I am always amazed when I think of the pathfinders that discovered all these places. They didn't have roads to follow. Horse pack trips are another subject altogether.

Yes, Ben & Jerry's has a good sized shop on Church St, but their factory, the tour, and flavor graveyard are down I-89 in Waterbury. Waterbury is awesome in its own right.
