I earned my PADI open diver certification in 1983 after being sent by my Fire Chief with 3 other Firefighters. Our department was establishing a Rescue Dive team. Our 2 Instructors were both PADI Master Diver & Instructors certified, Troopers on the West Virginia State Police Department Dive/Rescue Team. After my open water cert., I obtained my Deep Dive and then Rescue Diver certification. I'm retired now after being a Firefighter/ EMS Medical First Responder, Rescue-Recovery Diver, Fire Service NFPA Certified Instructor for over 30yrs. However, I still love recreational diving and am young enough to assist our local Fire/Rescue dive teams upon request. I also enjoy diving in our beautiful WV rivers, streams and lakes, mostly recreational now that I'm retired. Aqualung equipment was recommended to me by First Sergeant/Trooper Bob Adams (my dive Instructor) of the WVSP (department of public safety at that time) and I've relied on their equipment to assist and recover many individuals that require the Fire Service Rescue Dive Team. It's rugged, lasting, safe and dependable...in my personal & professional opinion. Will continue buying Aqualung Equipment into the future!!

On US website I see the 1st stage is marked 'Helix Pro compact' BUT at my local dive shop (USA) they say there is only one Helix Pro 1st stage - no special 'compact' marking. They say the 'compact' refers to the smaller 2nd stage and octo, which indeed are much smaller than the Helix Pro versions. Can Aqualung clear this up for me?

I want the regulator, but Aqualung as a company is in complete disarray.

When the engineering is so precise, even the accent sounds très calculated. Bravo Manuel 👏

Hi Aqualung, i realise there is probably a mistake on your official website regarding this Helix compact pro model. The weight for the DIN 1st stage was stated to be heavier than the Yoke 1st stage. Also i would like to clarify about the breathability of the 2nd stage. The value seems to be higher than even the octo. Hope to hear from you soon

I have a regulator from the same company, produced in 2004. Water and breeze ran away from it. I wanted to die. How can I get parts for it? I am in Saudi Arabia, the city of Abha.

I got my MBS this year while working towards getting my OWC, it's an awesome regulator to have. I prefer it over the Helix. I can't see myself using anything but the MBS.

Finally after many years of diving I went, and got myself the Legend set. Been diving with the Titan for many years, and loved it, but always kept my eye on the Legend series. It was time to upgrade. Aqua Lung has kept me alive, and well during my time under the surface. Thank you for continuing to make amazing products.
