My wife just took delivery on the same exact model different color last week of october. I can hardly wait for the weekends because that's when my wife lets me drive her car. It's the most fun to drive that I can remember in over 50 years.

@@basspig we love it! Quiet, comfortable as heck, very nice looking, and has plenty of power! We have been on some 5-6 hour road trips and no shuffling in the seats, just a great vehicle!

They both look amazing but... although the Challenger is faster, I don't like the front faring. It takes up too much of my view and it looks like a cyclops from the front. So I went with the Chieftain myself because I am in love with it's design. And I find it more comfortable than I did the Challenger.

I bought this same pair. They feel very comfortable except for the trim piece around the top of them. They hurt the back of leg enough to make them hard to wear

I am thinking about getting a pair, I am a shorty and my current boots lift me up a bit. Do these give you any lift or are they like running shoes?

These have a slight lift, but they are definitely not running shoes. They are comfortable, but definitely for riding, with the ankle reinforced and the heal and toe reinforced it wouldn’t be good for running haha. Walking around in between your rides is fine but

@@BobberandReel Sorry, I meant the lift is like a running shoe vs the lift from a boot. I get about 3/4 of an inch lift from my boots, vs my normal (running shoes) is like 1/8 of an inch. :)

@@SaskRiderMoto I gotcha. Yea I do not know a ton about that, they are very comfortable though. And I can walk around the mall or wherever in between rides and have no cramps or soreness. Sometimes even my Nikes make my toes or arch tender.

I love this vehicle, but they forgot something very important for taller people: thigh extension. Ask anyone over 6’ about this on a 6+ hour road trip, it alleviates lower back pain and pressure. I’m shocked Mazda didn’t add it on the higher trim levels.

I just bought the crossbars last night. I've heard they make a loud whistling noise, so I hope it's not unbearable. Maybe spray foam in the tubing could work?

Find a tool and die shop get some 20tho brass shim stock, and silicone stop squeak and stick it to the back of the padsi found a small bit of a soft metal like brass of aluminum sheet makes a big difference but generally speaking most ceramic pads are noisy when cold

They have flex in the tow but not the ankle. I wear them around the mall when I ride and parks etc. they aren’t bad honestly.

We got rid of our atlas with less than 8 thousand miles because VW would not help and said it was not affecting the performance so we have to deal with it the most expensive suv on the lot lol nope a VW fan and owner for 10 years and not anymore

That seems like the perfect situation to just try $2 brake grease before trying different pads altogether honestly. I mean brake to rotor interaction can only happen so many ways IMO and if certain pads are always squeaking I'd assume different pads or rotors would not have the same problem unless you're unlucky.
