I’m taking it for ME/CFS and I’m getting my life back. I’ve recommended it to my daughter for the same reason, and a friend for an injury from a particular enforced medication. Not only are we getting relief but also educating GP’s and specialists in our small city as well as a nearby larger city.

LDN has helped me tremendously for Long Covid, it has really brought down the inflammation and pain. I settled at 3 mg which works for me, target was 4.5 mg, but did cause a fainting spell so backed down to 3. It has incredibly boosted my immune system as well, as I am not catching every single thing out there, which I was while suffering so from Long Covid. So grateful for it! Wish he would take more time in enunciating and slowing down, this is important information!

I’m so tired of being sick, I just want to live my life. I just started taking .5 mg 4 days ago and man is it messing up my sleep. I really hope I start seeing benefits and immune system improvement.

@@ashleylala4293 Hi Ashley, so glad it was prescribed for you but sorry to hear about the sleep disruption. I remember the doc telling me it could do that and cause vivid dreams (whatever that actually means) but I haven't really experienced that either. I take my LDN about 10 am each day, don't know what time you are taking yours. By four days, I was feeling improvements and they worked the dosage up slowly, 3 mg is all I can manage. I liked the 4.5, but sudden fainting is dangerous, so brought it down. I will say, that if I forget to take it, I feel in a full blown crash, that's how much difference it makes for me. Also, it actually does boost your immune system so you aren't always catching everything, but then LC crashes feel as bad a covid or flu's, hard to tell which is happening. I hope you feel improvements soon, may have to wait for noticeable improvements when they increase your dose. Another point made to me by my doc, was she chose a particular compounding pharmacy in Golden CO, due to their consistent quality. I wonder if that is something to consider too. Thanks for responding, always good to share with other LCers and I wish you great improvement very soon. Hang in there. FYI, I am in no way back to my normal life, but just being able to get up, shower, do a little, is better than the prior suffering. I am going back to work for two afternoons a week, just to get by, after four and a half years of being so sick. Hope you can be patient, but the improvements should help you have hope! Best Wishes!

Why continue to take it then? You don't continue to take a drug that does nothing for you. Maybe if you stopped for a month you may notice things that definitely were better when you took the drug. Or maybe like me after 4 years on it for Hashimotos at 4.5ml I became resistant to it and took the compounding pharmacist advice to take a 1 month break from and then start again at 1ml. What I noticed during the break from it was, 1)my restless legs returned at night, 2)my blepharitis returned, 3) pain I my right breast implant which I am waiting to have removed, 4)itching skin in creases of elbows and back of knees, 5) not sleeping well, 6)slight anxiety. I have been without these symptoms for so long I had totally forgotten about them. The main purpose of the drug for me was to reduce the antibodies relating to Hashimotos, but all these other things it helped were pleasing extras😊

This drug LOW DOSE NALTREXONE has zero withdrawal symptoms. I just stopped it for 4 weeks, nada, zip, zero withdrawal effects. I do wish people would read about what he is referring to before making ignorant comments . This IS NOT the drug at 50ml level used for alcholism and drug withdrawal. It is used in tiny amounts from 0.1ml to 4.5ml which produces an entirely different effect. It is a repurposed drug and has been used in this way for over 40 years. In fact is is now used in the lower doses as a very effective adjunct to cancer treatment drugs . For many people it is a game changer. Please look up the medical facts about this drug and then you can make a useful comment😊

When you speak of these "peptides" are you speaking of COPPER peptides? I hear you talking about different modes of using... injection and otherwise. Is what you are talking about the same as the Lifewave patch? And are the patches even safe if you know anything about that? It sounds to me like a doctor should be monitoring how it is helping each individual person.

@@celestialskydancer762i still feel .1mg might be too strong but im def doing better. In a couple weeks im going to have my pharmacy compound liquid LDN in almond oil. That way i can use sub .1mg dose and titrate up by micrograms. A lot of people with ME/CFS having success with this. The whole “tough out the side effects till your body adjusts” attitude needs to go. Starting at lower doses makes more sense. No need to put your body through that.

I've been taking 6-8mg MB daily for about three weeks now. Within the last week I've developed a rash that started on my legs and one arm. I thought it was mosquito bites at first. Now it's more spread onto my stomach, hips, shoulders area - where clothes slightly rub. Since I've not changed anything else, I'm wondering if MB is causing this? Is my body adjusting to it? Should I cut my dosage? Stop completely? I did mix some MB with lotion to apply topically but only on my legs so the widespread rash is puzzling. Not really itchy, just splotchy ugly tiny red bumps. I'm really hoping I don't need to stop taking but am not sure where to go from here. I can't consult a doctor because they will be clueless about MB and just prescribe an antihistamine or something. I do use RL/NIR therapy also for the added benefits. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.
