Lmao I'm the only bari in my school and I have none of these problems plus you should NOT be use ing that neckstrap it's not good for you and could easily snap under the wate of the sax it's self(because like you said it's an alto neck strap) harnesses are a much better option and aren't that expensive (if you know where to look) and are better for your neck using the one you're using now can cause serious long term damage. If I were you I would seriously look into a harness. And for the people with smaller instruments just tell them that puting their horns in the bell could break their instrument to it could get stuck...
