Interesting, in 1922 my dad was a 14-year-old Iowa farmer boy. He befriended a pilot who had served in the "Great War". Like many returning pilots, Dave had purchased a government surplus Waco and made his living traveling around the mid-west giving short flights to the public. Many people at that time had never seen an airplane up close. For 6 weekends in the summer Dave flew his plane out of my grandparent's farm. My dad helped to make sure there was always a crowd to watch and pay two dollars a person for a 10-minute flight. From what my dad said the Waco was a flimsy-looking plane but very robust. Cool video.

Ce vol représente beaucoup pour moi, le résultat de longues heures de travail mais aussi de partage, de rire et d'amitié. Merci à mon ami Francis pour les essais, les conseils, les coups de gueule car je ne construit pas asser vite à son gout …..Mon rêve est aujourd'hui réalité.
