My weightloss experience in Korea: kimchi (prebiotics), lots of walking everywhere, self image and comforming to social norms (I'm tall endomorph foreigner) and need to feel normal by shrinking myself, fitting in clothes wanting to participate in shopping/economy, working lots of hours, needing gym to decompress and manage loads of work stress (hustling)

Came here because the TikTok video that landed on my FYP was turned off… Marketers have lost the trust of the consumer and I’m glad TikTok is exposing that; relatability is getting harder to feign now in this ever changing social media world. Also, content creators are now exposing the pay discrepancies between them and those who marketing teams view as the “right people” (words used in the video). Glad I came across your page but the viral video did come at an awkward time.

Love this episode! Everything mentioned is exactly what I am feeling right now. I’m a marketing graduate, I completely agree that everything taught at university was very theory based. I was asked the other day how I would begin marketing for a friends product and (although it may sound stupid🫣) I actually wouldn’t know where to start, a lot of it is just purely fundamentals. I found this very insightful and inspiring to say the least! Get me to a girls in marketing ‘networking’ event, I need to meet my people!!❤

OHHH I loved the podcast! It was honestly sooo dang fun! I feel like (somehow) we're still trapped in mean girl marketing culture by creators promoting pain point tactics which (honestly) gives me THE ICK. We want to feel valued, heard, and seen. There's no other way around. Definitely need more of these discussions here!

Just discovered you guys this week via KZbin and I'm loving your videos. I'm so glad when podcasts are put on KZbin because I simply would never have discovered the ones that I've come to enjoy otherwise. By the way, I think you could use his suggestion at the end by filling it with a yellow drink or liquid and use the caption 'Fill it with whatever you want...or need to'.

Hi! love the episode, still watching. Coming from another angle; do you think the “un-relatability” of some of these influencers is what attracts some potential consumers to them, like it gives them something to aspire too.
