So happy the Comanche are FINALLY getting the credit they deserve...and the S.C Joe Rogan interview was great too... there needs to be a Blockbuster Comanche movie ASAP 🐎🏹 now is the perfect time with the Western genre making such a great comeback 💜 fromKansas

I can't even begin to accurately convey how excited I am that I have only seen this movie in Comanche, and I absolutely refuse to watch it in English. I hope that more movies come out dubbed like this because it's such a historic and important thing that this movie was made available in Comanche.

Nah comanches need to go extint. You were disgustingly brutal not only to settlers but to other native american tribes.

I'm a spaniard and I can only say that this movie was fantastic , best predator prequel ever ,that's what american movies need , more native american heroes, the actors did a great job, also the comanche language version was great ,I hope these actors make more movies.

I always wished for a Predator movie in a kind of "apocalypto" setting, this was the answer. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Watching it in Comanche is a much better experience.

Is there a point? She sat on a couch and did perhaps 20 interviews in a day to promote the film. Of course people interject pauses in conversation. Focus on her achievement: the first Indigenous woman to carry the lead in a major motion picture.

THIS. MOVIE. WAS. AMAZING. as an indigenous man as well as a super predator fan. This brought it back. This goes right up there with the original. Staying true to the predator as well as to the comanche nation. Love how our mythos and folklore overlap.

"Without our language we are no longer a person." What a profoundly sad statement. Hopefully "Prey" will lead to more movies not only centered on native characters but native languages that should be thriving.

This is such a great interview. Its' funny, down to earth etc. Amber Midthunder is so nice. I am glad to see the inter-First Nation relations flourish. Its' good to see a film not only help give a push to the Predator franchise but also to help the Comanche Nation protect and portray their culture

As a Swiss citizen, I'd rather watch Prey than a scene in Peter Pan called "What makes the red man red." Sorry for the offending stuff I said but I heard that prey did a very very very good job representing Indigenous peoples of the Americas particularly the Comanche

Having watched both versions (English and Comanche-dub), I have to say they're both awesome in their own ways... though Comanche version had that beautiful language that just sucked me into their world, and was incredibly fascinating and made want to learn it for myself. Is it a perfect movie? No, but it does so much right that I don't even care that much about what it doesn't. Despite taking place in the same universe and featuring the same kind of monster, it's not a Predator movie. It's Prey, and I hope this isn't the last we see of this. That's really the best way I can put it.

I know the Yaqui split from the Comanche a very very long time ago but I still feel a sense of pride and especially awe at Comanche on screen. Hopefully in the future we will see more Comanche portray Comanche. Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, & co did a bang up job and killed it on screen.

Same here I really would love to watch this in comanche but I struggle watching dubs.
@electrikrainb0w2 жыл бұрын
@@Ifitplaysthenplayit This was actually the original plan. The very 1st script was written to be spoken in the Comanche language. Apparently it was switched to english due to one of the movie studios or Fox or something. It's unfortunate, but at least they were able to make the dubs!
