Thank you for posting this video. I'm in the USA and Midnight Diner is one of my most favorite series. I watched the original 3 seasons and the 2 "Tokyo Stories" seasons numerous times. I also bought the two movies on Blu-ray. I have not been able to find the 5 seasons of the "TV Series" on DVD/Blu-ray with English subtitles. Would you happen to know if they are available anywhere? BTW, this video got you another subscriber!

Hello, I'm in San Diego CA USA I was born in Yokosuka on the naval base in 1970. One day I'll see with my own eye to see where I was born into. This and those who video Japan gives me an Idea what it would be like. Thank You for doing this one I like the Midnight Diner show.

Just hearing the doors close and hearing those *dingdong* sounds brings back memories when I used to study in Tokyo as a foreign exchange student. Before I even left my home country, I never knew a single word of Japanese (aside from watching anime growing up, or the fact that I could read some kanji because I have some background in Chinese). Anyway, it's always good to reminisce since I always commuted going to university from my dorm before. I'd say Japan has one of the best subway stations in the world.
