You're not the first to notice a resemblance between the young Tony Perkins and Andrew Garfield. Andrew actually WAS the first choice to play Perkins in the 2012 movie Hitchcock, which was about the making of Psycho. But he was committed to his run in Death of a Salesman on Broadway, so they went with James D'Arcy instead.

Hitchcock was incredibly successful his whole career, not just later in life. He had multiple successful films throughout his entire career. Classics like Rebecca, Notorious, Strangers on a Train, Shadow of a Doubt, Rear Window, Vertigo, & North by Northwest.

As much as the evil people at Disney try to ruin the franchise, I will never stop being a fan of old Star Wars. You two have reminded of the passionate and talented fans that truly understand what made the franchise great. Anakin Skywalker will always be The Chosen One of the Star Wars universe for me. We don't need any souless people besmirching the old characters. That doesn't take away from them in any way.

I'm not sure if you guys take comment suggestions but from what I've seen that you guys have reacted to in the past I think y'all would really like Interview with the Vampire (2022). It's honestly one of the best shows on air right now, IMO... I cannot sing higher praises for the cinematography and the writing and the costuming and the ACTING. It's all so so good! And you can jump into the show without having watched the 1994 movie. I mean it's interesting to compare and contrast the movie adaptation versus the show adaptation of the books... but the show definitely blows the movie completely out of the water, IMO. On multiple levels.

The last scene of season 1 is showing Sauron entering Mordor. The start of the trailer shows him back in Eregion. My theory is that he went to Mordor to forge the One Ring before going back to Eregion to forge the 16 others.

They've already f-ed the order of the making of the rings so it doesn't matter anyway this show is a joke.

I think we will get the forging of the dwarven rings first towards the start of the season, they get distributed to the dwart lords then towards the mid/end of the season we get the reveal that Annatar is actually Sauron while theyte forging the 9 & Celebrimbor tries to destroy them. Sauron wasnt present for the actual forging of the 3 rings so i think her theory is he has no influence over these 3 because he wasnt actually there. The moment Sauron puts on the one ring, they feel his presence and realise theyre wrong. Cirdan, Galadriel & Gil Galad are the original holders. They have released images of Cirdan, so he is present in this season, he just wasnt in the trailer. It also makes sense that Gil Galad would want to keep Sauron being there as a secret. Elves are v prideful and he'd probably see that as a complete embarrassment that they were fooled. Annatar presents himself as a messenger from the Gods so Celebrimbor either wasn't told Halbrand was Sauron, or doesnt believe it once Annatar shows up. He probably exploits Celebrimbors want to make an impact on history.

I think it wasn't being around other people that made Penelope awkward, but rather that there was something on the line. Her interaction with Debling at the party went so well because she wasn't trying to charm him. At that point she'd all but given up, so she was just being herself (that's exactly what she told Colin at the sweets booth). But now that he's expressed interest she feels the pressure to not mess it up, so she's back to being awkward and trying too hard.

I hate it when adaptations in general ignore the idea of being in a new medium for a reason. For me, live action is the ultimate way to depict something accurately, because it's the most "alive" way of showing a story. When an adaptation changes too much, who is it for? People who like the show may wanna go back to the cartoon/book/videogame/comic, only to get something completely different anyway. Imagine people watching Ant-Man becoming fans, then learning that Hank Pym assaulted his wife or realizing Spider-Man had more girlfriends including "Marvel's Catwoman." I'm a big Mass Effect fan, my first real interest into sci-fi space lore. I'm scared that somebody might try to adapt it, knowing what they do with them now. Already did a shit job casting for Borderlands with actors too damn old for their characters and Kevin Hart being absolutely misscasted. More like a parody of Borderlands than an adaptation, or as some say: fanfic.

Correction what i wrote down below about Newt: In the books Newt was the only british boy of all the gladers. Never says why, but he was. The Wicked took those kids when they were small and let them grow up in the Wicked facility like test objects. Some of them were later put in the mazes so they could study them. They had other names from the beginning, but Wicked changed their real names when they were little and gave them new names. Most of them got names from famous scientists, philosophers, and other historical people. Thomas: Thomas Edison, Newt: Isaac Newton, etc, etc..

I'm not a fan of Bridgerton, I've seen the first season and did not like it, and then I've seen the last one. After seeing it, I've read that Queen Charlotte was really good and I was like, well, let's give it a chance. Im glad I did. I loved it. The way its written and directed, all of the side stories are as special as the main one. The finale broke me. It was beautiful yet devastating. I hope they make more spinoff like this one.

Loved your review of episode 2. Yes Shaun, Eloise needs introspection. Remember, Pen and Eloise are same age (19) but Pen, is much more mature in so many areas than Eloise. Eloise has always been protected by her loving famil who tease but they let her fly her geeky flag. Pen is always criticized cruelly by her family. Also remember Colin (age 24) is immature too and trying to find himself into adulthood. He thrives on helping people. His 29 and 31 brothers are basically his role models and some of their behaviors doesn't suit Colin. Also remember Colin was hurt by Marina's betrayal and it has made him more insecure. I look forward to the rest of your reactions.

This edit is so brilliant. Whoever HFP is, I don't know if its one person or a group, but they truly understand Anakin and Star Wars in general. In 10 minutes it captures everything Anakin was, when he was good and his weaknesses and why he fell to the Dark side and what it took to bring him back to the light and redemption. The original edit was so powerful I wouldn't have guessed it could be improved upon but this is just MAGICAL. Also I 💯 agree with you woth what Disney is doing now to Star Wars. They are so disrespecting the greatest franchise of all time and making a mockery of it. Shame on you KATHLEEN KENNEDY!

I can't believe how many reactions I have binge watched of Queen Charlotte. It never fails to move me. I really enjoyed your reactions. You showed so much compassion for the characters. In the end that is what makes this particular series so powerful. It's not just about romantic love. It's about duty, honor and commitment. But most importantly, it really is about George just as much as it is about Charlotte - if not more so. We watch a man dealing with something much greater than himself. We watch him fall and fail miserably. We watch him give in and almost crumble. But we also watch him stand up and live to fight another battle. Maybe that's why the declaration of love is so powerful. We understand he doesn't feel that he deserves love. But we are Charlotte at that moment. We all say: "We see your struggle. We honor you. We love you." That very last scene under the bed is bittersweet. But we understand Queen Charlotte's singlemindedness. In a way she does inherit from the Dowager Princess. As for Reynolds and Brimsley. We love them because they honor their service to the king and queen. We respect them. We want them to be rewarded with love because they deserve it. My favorite Reynold's scene is when he sees George struggling and he quietly places his hand on George's shoulder to calm him. What a beautiful moment. Brimsley follows behind Charlotte at a moment when she is beside herself. He extends his arm like a jedi soldier and shoots out his love to bolster the queen to keep her going. How beautiful that we absolutely love these two men. It's incredible writing, directing and acting to get us to love these men individually and as a couple. These entire series is breathtaking. Shonda got it right. She really did.

I think you guys are so correct that Colin's new rake persona is totally fake because if you really listen to what was in his journal, you will notice that he is truly very lonely and is looking for an emotional connection. His brothers have previously said that he should go to more brothels and with Pen not having written him back during his last trip, along with his family not returning any of his letters, I think Colin went to brothels in order to curb his loneliness since that is what worked for Anthony. However, I think that kiss with Pen changed everything for him. I think he found that emotional connection he has been seeking and now that Eloise isn't constantly pulling Pen away from him, he has time alone with Pen and can now see her in a different light and possibly realize that he has always been in love with her. Also if you notice, Colin completely lets down his guard when he is with Pen, even with his family there is some sort of wall up, but with Pen he just drops the charade and is the goofy, soft spoken, sensitive person we have always known. I think Colin is just an insanely sensitive person and after the trauma and humiliation of the attempted entrapment by Marina, I think Colin has put walls up around his heart and has tried so hard to not be who he is and to be more carefree like his brothers. Also, yeah Eloise so far this season has not been the greatest. I feel like Eloise's actions stem from anger, spite and even a bit of jealousy....but it should be noted that Pen also has had her bad moments that stem from anger, spite and jealousy as well...like angrily write crap about Colin last episode, ruining Marina so that she wouldn't marry Colin (perhaps a selfish move to keep Colin for herself), talking so much crap about the Bridgerton family and also her family, and on top of that almost ruining Eloise (yes, to steer her away from the Queen's gaze but also in a selfish attempt to stop Eloise from taking credit as LW and from having to come forward herself). So while what we see Eloise do is bad, not denying or condoning her actions, I think we should also remember that Pen has also not been the greatest person either. I think both Eloise and Pen have some growing up to do this season, they both need to take responsibility for their actions and learn better ways to deal with their emotions.

I'm so glad you were able to watch Queen Charlotte! Really enjoyed your reactions to it. They did such an awesome job with this spinoff. No matter how many times I see it, I cannot watch this episode (or reactions to this episode) without crying. It's so powerful and poignant. Interesting side note: The real-life daughters of Charlotte and George actually wanted to marry and have children, but their parents were against it and kept them secluded. George didn't want his daughters being married off to foreign princes and risk finding themselves trapped in a loveless marriage.

This time period is the late 1700s as she marries the king in 1761 and when they go to the present Brighton queen charlotte it’s the early 1800s as queen Charlotte dies in 1818 while king George the third ruled England from 1760 and dies in 1820. And she had 15 Children and Two did not survive infancy, which is why lady whistletown said 13 children.
