Boy what a good memory! I grew up on Louisa St. in the 60's ...

I remember the tracks along Welland Ave and down through Louisa towards Ontario Street. I also remember them going east along Welland Avenue before turning north towards what is now Malcolmson Park and then east again over the Lock 1 Bridge towards McNab

I remember that neighborhood. I lived for 2 years on Lake Street, near Beech, while I was studying at Brock. I used to curse the tracks, because I always used to hit them at a awkward angle when cycling. Now I miss those days.

We lived at 35 Carlton right in front of GM and the train would rumble by several times a day. My mother's teacups would eventually need to be placed at the back of the hutch as the train would vibrate them to the edge.
