i think all the ii+s had fapt on them for programming. nice system. watch out for a saddle worn on the bed up at the spindle where most of the cutting time is. really nice machine. i ran those and the chnc16 for four years. check with hardinge that boards and spare parts are available.

Thanks! I'm considering buying it if the seller still has it, but it would cost me a small fortune to put it in my shop. Did you ever deal with a sticking turret?

it was not uncommon for them to stick but our shop had maintenence folks to un stuck it.

Buen día, tengo una igual pero tengo un problema por que me pesa de más,. Ejemplo traigo 100 libras pesadas en otra bazcula ,en esta me pesa 103 o 104 lbs

Make sure to press the "Tare" button and try to account for the hooks/straps you use. But you're right, these things can be off and are not precision instruments. For my use, as long as it's consistent with itself, I can measure when a car engine changes by a few pounds.

You can try and see how many lbs it's off using know weights like dumbbells (mancuernas), then just write that down on some tape stuck to the scale.

I took any unused hose connectors out of the intake manifold and plugged them with brass npt plugs of the same size.

Just came from the video on the taillights. I have the jdm 2000 sti gf8, and I highly recommend putting gasket maker where it was from the factory on the taillights, it prevents water from getting inside the trunk of the car

You may have been inspired by the Eastwood video but your video is so much more. Actual drawings, dimensions and your thought process. Eastwood was just phoning it in (boring).

Let me know if you need any more details, it was really easy to make once I had the metal cut to the size I wanted. You may want to consider the track width of your car, or the body. I ended up welding on some flat "wings" where tires could sit on top of.

Also you'll want to cap off the tops of the legs, so that no bolts or tools fall down there! I just have some blue tape over mine for now.

I-beams are superior to square tubes as the beam flanges provide a place to clamp your work down without the deep clamp needed for +4" tube depth. Also choosing the correct flat flange profile on the beams. Good video.
