Cybers Structures QOL+ is way better than AA mod and QOL+. It has a better resource pulling system and easier to move your mats around. You should check it out if you haven't already. It is essentially the Structures Plus mod from ASE. It also gets updated more than QOL+

Love your videos but don't lead people on with ark 2. Crystal isles and lost Island are confirmed for 2027 and I'm almost 100% positive the last map released with be brand new. Don't expect ark 2 until 2029 at earliest. Maybe 2028 but I don't see this team pushing it out that fast.

anyone having the same issue as me, no matter what commands i do whenever i go down into the sunken forest different areas have different lighting? like one minute itll look fine the next itll go so dark above me. PS5

The settings you showed us are not on console it's only PC players. Your info is good for them but not console players but reading all the replies on the comments I guess I'll get my answer from there

At least the game is not a quick cash grab game and I don’t mind the wait time because I’m playing ascended. Yes it needs a lot of updates but I’m still having fun 😅

On single player when i transfer to another map i get kicked from my own tribe and then have to go around reclaiming everything. Does anyone know why? Or how to stop this?

Only thing I think I should throw out there, I believe the bed afk thing only works if the server isn't at or near cap. I'm not exactly sure where the cutoff is, but it will kick you when the server is full if you don't have some kind of interaction occasionally (like drinking your canteen, etc)

I refuse to upgrade my graphics card AGAIN in order to play Ark on decent settings. I already spent $700+ on a 4070 in 2023. They need to OPTIMIZE THE DAMN GAME, not bank on every player affording a 50 series GPU. The reason people still prefer ASE is because they can run it on potatoes and still enjoy the game. I am getting real sick and tired of these delays man. We were supposed to have Ragnarok in SEPTEMBER 2024. Now we won't see it till April / May / June of 2025. This is bullshit. They need a better parent company so they can afford to hire more people / people who can get the game going at a better pace.

I just started playing this game in November and yes I crash about every 4 hours on PC and probably once a day if I’m playing on PS5 but this is definitely the most fun I have had playing a game and it’s the only game I play now. Thanks Teach I watched a lot of your videos and you have taught me so much! I look forward to future videos

in the current economy i cant see Ark players in mass rushing out to spend $1000 to $2000 on a GPU that will likely also need a PSU upgrade

My thoughts and observations on it after playing with it for a few hours (PvP Official): It does not stay where you put it. Regardless of being over air or water and irrespective of altitude or being in/out of render distance this thing does slowly sink when unmounted and will eventually land if left to idle. So you can't park it somewhere in the sky over water long term like a Quetz base. The constant small downward motion actually makes it difficult to walk on sometimes. This makes me wonder if it can be used to trap a Quetz. Given there is an technique for taming a high level Quetz using a low level one with a thatch trap built on it's platform saddle. You can fly up to the Quetz with the trap and as long as your mounted the wild Quetz will ghost through the trap. As soon as you dismount it becomes solid and the wild Quetz is stuck. It can then be knocked and tamed in the air. Now I've found that it's actually easier to get to the point of being able to build a Zeppelin before getting to the point of being able to tame a low level Quetz. So it would be nice if I could skip taming a low level Quetz and use the Zeppelin to go strait to taming a high level one. But I think that constant sinking could prevent a problem with using it in the same manner. Though it can land on water. It doesn't move around on water once landed. Which... fair enough. But it does make me wonder if Leeds will attack it or not. Because if Leeds (and wilds in general) don't attack it. That means we can effectively build out modular ocean plats to shapes and sizes we actually need long before Gen 1 releases. I also wonder if it can fly in no flyer caves. It seems like it should be able to because it can fly on aberration. But I don't know for certain that it can. If it can. That could make it not only useful for some cave activities like getting crates. But also for aiding building in no flyer caves. It could even replace the need for teleporters and elevators in some instances of getting around inside no flyer cave bases. When idling it consumes about 1 gas/100 fuel every 1 minute and 45 seconds. So that should be about 2 hours and 40 minutes per 100 stack of gas. Or 1000 gas equaling around 24 hours of idle flight (As long as one stays mounted given it will eventually sink out of the sky and land if unmounted as previously mentioned). So that might seem like a useless metric. But I also tested and timed it moving slow and fast. The rate of fuel consumption is flat regardless of speed. One of the more interesting possibilities worth looking into is whether or not having a bed on one will allow the player to spawn in places where beds don't normally work. Which the devs have made a lot of places by making it so most beds don't work when "hidden". It's made being a bob on official PvP a lot harder. So It would be nice if there was some repair to that. I also wonder about possible builds for soaking, how armoring for that works and if turrets treat it as a tame. Overall I wouldn't say it's better or worse than a Quetz. It doesn't do what a Quetz does as well as Quetz does it. But it does do some things a Quetz is entirely incapable of. I'd say until skiffs come out. It's definitely worth having both. I will say that I think a quetz is generally considered to be mid game. And I would say the Zeppelin is more like late early game. At least in terms of ease of acquisition.

I’m curious about which stat to increase…you said crafting and I remember crafting from ASE. However, I heard putting points into weight increases the quantity of the material. I’m curious because the Archelon generates more algae with more points into food. Has anyone tried this with Gacha to see?

Trying to figure out why an argentavis set I'm trying to breed has different slot caps on two of the same level and values. The first breeding set came from regular captures and tames that breed to make base females and a male. The new one I'm trying to make new females off of was a Christmas color (purple, black and pink tips) I thought I could breed it with the originals that I did until I got the 162 again that it had all the stats of the original females. Made a pair and when all grown up I noticed two I was trying to transfer inventory over to were not working the same. Old base female and new color base female are both 162. The Weights show the same 568.0. I was oddly using them as storage for some things. The first one I was transferring over a bunch of fertilizer and some stone. It took the stone ok but the original base female can hold more fertilizer than the new base female..... even though the stats and saddles are the same. So confused. Tried balling it and tossing the new one back out to see if it changed. Nope. The new one for some reason will not hold as much as the old in fertilizer. It makes me feel there are hidden stats or if the older one since it has more xp levels to use (that neither have been used) that it some how gives it hidden slot space?....

Think they could make a mod for tether distance?

Crazy how they say they need $ but ark 2 will be bought so many times it'll probably be huge for them. $ they could use to help get more teams and more. It's just not good to keep pushing it back.
