Hi. I am just a beginner who just started learning TouchDesigner. I have watched about 100 TD beginner tutorial videos on KZbin(bileam tschepe, the interactive&immersive HQ). But as I started doing real projects following other tutorials like your videos, it feels so much difficult and I barely understand what is going on. Of course i can make the final result since I can just repeat what you do, but the thing is that I can't understand the procedure and make my own stuff later on. I live in south korea and there are not many ways to learn it step by step by a pro. is there a any tip you could give me when it comes to learning TD? sorry for this random question. and thank you for making these awsome videos!!

Hi paketa, at 10:00 couldn't you align them into a line by using an analize top set to sum and rows, instead of the more complex setup you used? Thank you for another amazing video, I love everything you do
@paketa12Ай бұрын
you right, analyze with sum or either maximum as both will get you the results in a line ...but I want it to get that with 'pushes'. Thank you massive.

Interesting system and build. Did you found the solution to keep every row of pixels in separate row but without space between them, like stacked horizontaly boxes ?
@paketa12Ай бұрын
yes, that approach is also doable and we meet such a situation when dealing with primitive in trace as they will have different lengths points
@hindusplАй бұрын
@paketa12 can you tell where that method you used, or what are you reffering to ?

Hello! Thank you so much for your tutorial :) I'm trying to recreate something similar but with a 16:9 ratio instead of 1:1. The issue is that my source image seems to be zoomed in and stretched vertically. A bit difficult to explain without image references... Any clues on how I could fix this? Thanks in advance!

hi, did you have any problem when you follow the tutorial? For me, I followed exactly same way with the video, but my result is quite different when distancing pos and scale. The only thing I found the difference is visual of ramp ( I changed the parameter output to 'set resolution only' bc ramp has been updated than the version of the tutorial) I'm just asking to you bc you are the person follow the tutorial recently...

the UV component is nothing but tow ramps, one horizontal goes into red channel and a vertical one for the green channel. I have a bunch of files in which you can find the component. Check the file from my last tut: 'voxels in TouchDesigner' ...you'll find it there. Thank you so much

@paketa125 ай бұрын
the "wounded" version is of course based on this construction, but it's from an older file where we used cones and which is surprisingly much smoother (the straight lines are aligned and stay parallel). That .toe file is to be presented to my patrons in tier "play". Thank you massive
