@@Brandon-lw2rj idk, F3 might not try so hard in scrims sometimes but then actually do good in games. Ivi also ended very strong but last few scrims it doesn't feel like they are as good anymore, people can figure them out and counter them

@LowTierBanan the matchmaking in this lobby was really weird but the title says I solo queued to grand master, which I did (I just uploaded 1 game because doing a compilation of all of them would have taken forever)

Also, Mac was in this game and I believe he is either gc 1 or 2 or at least he was recently

@@Cokes-p6x most comp players play at this level in terms of movement, playspacing, shooting, etc. There is a huge skill gap in this game but most comp players have been playing since alpha or release (like my case, and I have more than 1,170 hours in the game)

@@daryelhernandez9472 this game does not have active/realistic reloads. All you have to do is get the mag close to the weapon and it will automatically reload, so all I do is that without actively looking at my weapon while I reload. @@daryelhernandez9472 sometimes I do a combination of both. I bring my weapon down close to the ammo pouch and also bring my hand close to the weapon as soon as I pick up a mag

@@Puptatoplayz knowing when to crouch and not to comes with time and gamesense. The more you play, the more you notice common patterns of movement and positions from the enemy players. Also playing with audio cues and footsteps is key. I use press crouch

I'd say try messing with your settings first to find out what settings make you the most comfortable to aim straight. After that, it really comes down to practice with moving targets and repetitions. I practice a lot in control point

@@en3rgyclaps first 2 kills were due to positioning and reacting to my teammate's callout. I threw a nade to not allow a 3rd to swing me while I kill them, then once I killed them I focused on the 3rd who was coming for a refrag and killed him too. The last kill was the easiest one because he was the guy on the hallway window and he decided to make a big rotation without noticing the time left. He had to rush in the last few seconds there because I had control of the emp and the round would be over if he didn't rush. I just waited for audio cues and swung him

What headset are you getting? This game can be played both in standalone and also pcvr. I was also a mouse and keyboard player before I discovered the state of VR in 2021 and got my first headset (a quest 2). It takes some adjusting and learning mechanics but it doesn't take that long. If you are good in traditional pc games then you can apply a lot of the same lessons you've learned in VR too in terms of movement, positioning, using cover, etc. The one thing that takes some time to adjust and learn is combining in-game movement with playspacing (moving irl too at the same time) and obviously aiming (there are different techniques). Some people have physical stocks irl where you place your controllers for aim stability, some people play with virtual stock in-game (which simulates a 3rd point of contact in your shoulder virtually), and some people play using free hands completely. I personally use vstock atm but I might get a physical stock this Xmas. If you really want to get into the competitive scene for this game I'd recommend making a lft post or checking out the lfp posts from teams in the recruitment channels in the discord communities I sent when I replied to your other comment. Right now there is a roster lock for this season in VRML and BCL is only a tournament atm but I think they plan on getting it back to a league with seasons. You might wanna start a bit lower to learn the game with a tier 2 or tier 3 team and grinding ranked in-game, and once you get used to everything you can always transfer to a higher team once you've made a name for yourself. I appreciate the in depth response. My plan was what you had in mind regarding LFT and going into ranked. I may get one of those treadmills so I can go full operator mode haha
