Many years ago, in Pensacola, FL, I was privileged to be part of the West Florida Music Festival Chorus and we performed this very work. It was my first experience singing in a chorus with an orchestra...and what an experience it was! We also performed it in English and, as a Christian, there were moments when the text, combined with that sublime music, overwhelmed to such a degree as to reduce me to tears as I contemplated the message. We performed the work under the direction of guest conductor, Philppe Entremont, then conductor of the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra. I will never forget the reaction of his assistant who came to work with us the last two weeks before the performance, when he found out we had learned the entire thing English! After taking a few minutes to compose himself, he simply said "What a shame...but it will have to do." I'm sure at that point he felt like we were a bunch of west Florida panhandle crackers putting on aires....but it was an experience I wouldn't trade for anything! Thank you for posting this!

its okay, your double tonguing is a little bit unclean and blurred, and yeah your tuning with the Orchestra is a bit flat. and please stop rushing.. But hey your 11 so you have a great career in front of your eyes. By the way, the Orchestra played very blurred and bad.

It was a bit flat and I've played (piano) with orchestras like that and it's challenging/distracting/unnerving. But he had some really nice phrasing and musicality.

At age 11 after just 3 years of study, he doesn't quite have the physical control to play perfectly in tune, rushes a bit here and there, but much more importantly he handled it all like a burgeoning pro with confidence and demonstrated a very impressive sense of musicality and phrasing.

Piano well played, not impressed with the rest. Mediocre video production and camera work, and sound quality quite indistinct, sounds monophonic.

Also, abysmal conducting. Gee, guess this was a disappointment to me. There was one horn player trying valiantly to pull this off. Strings were not tuned either.
