You're not a very experienced cruiser. Don't get me wrong you might have been on 100 cruises but you're not experienced. Unfortunately you don't understand how to separate the different types of cruises. But you might learn one day. It's a bit sad. Yes MSC Cruise lines has different expectations because they are a Swiss Italian cruise line and they are not an American cruise line like they don't have great entertainment except for some of the new ships and they don't have comedy clubs and they have six or seven things that I don't like at all. But I also love the fact that their prices are a third of everybody else's. I just booked a four-day cruise in the fantail balcony single occupancy with all taxes and fees for $245. The cabin should not have been dirty. I understand that and that's kind of weird. But there's a list of like six or seven things that I have learned to tell people not to expect and if you get past that then it's a standard big cookie cutter cruise ship like all the rest. By the way we don't all want to see you drinking wine. That's so cliche when people do that. some of their a la carte restaurants are never very busy. In fact they're taking a couple of the mountain changing them out including I think the Mexican place and one of the seafood places is gone. The things that I don't like about MSC are the fact that they have a lot of wallpaper and no artwork. You can hardly find any artwork. They have these bejeweled staircases that I find very difficult to walk up and down. And yes the customer service is downright complete s*** if you need something. The food is just average. I find pizza on any other cruise ship much better than on MSC. But I find the buffets quite extensive and you can definitely become satisfied. It's hard to find free ice cream on board. There are way too many languages. In the middle of the day you can hear five languages which is crazy. Okay so you put all this aside and you actually have a pretty decent cruise ship and a pretty decent cruise. So you just have to realize that you're not going to have quite the same thing. They used to charge you for coffee in the dining room and now that's gone and it's free. You're not going to get the divers that you find on Royal Caribbean and you're not going to get the wave runner and that kind of thing but you are going to start seeing that kind of stuff on the newer ships. The something America. Anyway don't be so hard on MSC. Your entire video was just an amateur jaded bitch fest. Realize you were going in for a product that is probably half the price of all the other cruise lines except maybe during spring break and that it's a totally different concept for example paying or putting your credit card on your account when you get on board. You would be so surprised how many junior bloggers like yourself get their panties in a wad because they actually can't do it online like you can do at carnival or Royal Caribbean etc. Try them a couple more times because it's all about the price. They're really a pretty decent cruise line. In fact they're taking over the US cruise line industry. They weren't here a few years ago and now they have a full-time ship in Manhattan which even carnival was not able to do. Now they're blowing up in Port Canaveral and they're blowing up in Miami and they're blowing up in Galveston and now they have their first cruise going out of Alaska this year or next year and you're going to see them all over the West Coast soon. They are a price-based cruise line but fortunately you don't lose that much stuff that I see of any value really. and their drink prices are great when you buy them all the cart. We don't need any more of these type of silly videos.

For someone with 60 cruises I would think you would check to see what you can or can not bring on board (wine). You might also think about asking your room steward to reclean your room instead of trying to go to Hotel Manager. In my opinion you are a whiner.

Damn, I've heard some pretty bad things about MSC but it looks like someone over there was out to get you! Hopefully this is the worst of it, and the rest of the trip is better. Also: Backoff pizza man! I wonder if discount cruise lines like MSC also attracts a certain type of cruiser...hope not

Wow, I’m so sad for you on this cruise. I have been on several cruises myself, some with you. This is so disappointing and I felt anxious just listening to you talk about everything. I can say 100% that I will never go on this cruise line. Call me a snob, I’ve been spoiled on the cruise ships I’ve sailed on. Joe I can only hope it gets a little better.

I've swung in the past, so I wouldn't have cared. Im not sure I'll swing again. I might want to be a unicorn if I see a couple I really like. One thing I didn't like about swinging is that it's just sex. It's really sexually liberating for many people, and I like that, but I feel that when you get past that, it's pretty empty because you probably will never hear from or see that couple again. Unless they want to sexually be with you again. There is no connection for me and not fulfilling in a deeper way.
