Dont run the fuel lines dry if its a diesel. Could be a Big service bill

Top tip on removing the fuse for the fuel pump 👍 without doing so you waste alot of fuel and it gets messy.

cool. filter for the 2005 polo looks very similar. except its in front of drivers side rear wheel. will let you know how it is to change (if I can undo the well rusted screw on the clip...)

I have a vw fox 2006 1.2 8v and I have a problem with power,sometimes it runs great but then it is really sluggish and it repeats,it am thinking it's the fuel filter,what do you think mate.cheers.

it's a case of trying things, one at a time and seeing if it fixes it. A fuel filter change is cheap and easy to do so you could start with that and if it fixes it, you're sorted, if not then you can cross that out and try something else

Hi yea I've just got 2001 same car as your. But it automatic.can you tell me if the gearbox has a filter. Because the gearbox is slipping. I hope u can help.😀

Excellent video, thanks. I recently had to replace a number 19 relay on my partners Polo 6N2 because the windscreen wipers weren't working properly. It was a pain to do and there are no helpful youtube videos showing how to do it. So it would be a helpful video to see in the future.

the inside fuse schemes vary, depending on the model and dashboard type. i have a 2001 has the new dashboard type (i don't know what is called, but the panels are the same as the one in this video) and the "ALM" engine code. i suggest you to try the fuses on the battery (under the hood). there is a image : goo.gl/kEJh7S
