Most of what you tried that day actually are specialties from the south west of france.

Very nice reaction. You are making me hungry. One small suggestion is that perhaps you include the price of the foods you are eating. I think it would be informative.

Welsh Rarebit is NOT cheese on toast/bread with Worcestershire sauce: if that's what they sold you, they did you dirty.
@nollatfoodvibes4 күн бұрын
If you watch the video again when I presented the food I explained that it is a sort of cheese sauce on toast, with cheese, beer(ale to be specific) and worcestershire sauce. I know it is not only cheese but mainly cheese. I was at the legendary st. John in London so I don't think there is a more legit and authentic place that exists in London. It is one of their specialities and it is delicious 🤤

It's taken an Italian to come to Britain to show us Brits how to appreciate our own food. When you see Brits trying jellied eels they often look like they are being poisoned.
@nollatfoodvibes4 күн бұрын
It Is such a shame that these recipes are forgotten! Eels are delicious!
@MrBaronCabron3 күн бұрын
why are you being such a rimmer? we don't need anyone to appease our own food as we know it's good, and hardly anyone eats jellied eels anymore and is more of a tourist trap.

You seems like a truly nice person. Next time you go in France, and only if you like the andouillette: try the "Tripe à la mode de Caen", or i think in English : Caen-style tripe. I as a Normand i don't like it but i heard praise this specialty all the time. Continue to have great food in different country !

The lamb you ate is most certainly the well known recipe in France for lamb shoulder with Agen prunes (dried prunes) which gives this creaminess to the sauce. I use the same recipe with chicken or duck breasts

I am French and I am glad that you liked the cuisine of my country. Next time, I advise you to try French cheeses. You might be really surprised by all the flavors. Of course, there are too many to try them all but ask around, there must be a restaurant that makes cheese tasting platters.

@LOLOVAL-os3pq8 күн бұрын
and yet, only French gastronomy is classified in its entirety as part of the heritage of humanity! I wrote, in its entirety!
@clementrafa18 күн бұрын
If the meat is different from chicken, it's because it's a rooster. Chicken is slaughtered at around 3 months old, whereas a rooster is slaughtered later, typically at 6 to 8 months or even older. This makes the meat darker, with a stronger flavor. That’s why it’s often slow-cooked, simmered gently over low heat for a long time (known as confit).
@vince80819 күн бұрын

J aime votre enthousiasme❤

I remember once having a nice argument with my italian friends about food culture and why both country were amongst the best and I was saying that the french cuisine (except our french tradional cuisine ) was more about fusion cuisine instead of the italian cuisine that was more about heritage ,products made in Italy bla bla bla ...but without exploring or combining differents culture. they were like no no you're wrong we welcome all differents cuisine .....i said ok question could you tell me how many french restaurants there is in italy vs France ? I am still waiting for an answer after 10 years . Anyway you enjoyed it & it's the most important

If you like french food try to visit Dijon! I am not from there but i used to work there sometimes and i was blown away by the quality of the food there for very reasonable prices. I was a teacher there and i had a lot of students from abroad especially china.. They all said the same thing : there is not much to do in Dijon but the food is exeptional that's why they were saying there. Some chinese girls told me they gained a lot of weight there and used to be a lot thinner ! 😂😂😂😂
@nollatfoodvibes11 күн бұрын
I gained weight for sure in Paris 😂 but I believe if I was in Dijon I'd have gained weight even in there😅
