For anyone wondering, gathering item drop rate isn't THAT much better. At least for matchlock hunting. Ran some numbers in GPW's calculator for shadow wolves and it's just a 1.3% difference. If silver seems low it's because I have assumed no VP which actually works in drop rate's favor (with VP drop rate is an even smaller buff at around 1.17%). 2000 mastery & 57% gathering drop rate = 852.5m 1950 mastery & 75% gathering drop rate = 863.5m The reason I gave it 18% GIDR instead of the actual 14% you get from the artifacts and yawning hedgehog is to give it a fair chance since the mastery math assumes +50 mastery while in reality you only get 40 with artifacts and canine tooth meaning it also got 10 mastery out of thin air. Similarly I can't agree with using sharp alchemy stone. 1% GIDR isn't worth if it means you lose a bracket.

I wish I could have played PC from the beginning of time. I was too ignorant playing consoles and started my BDO journey on console since release. Gave it all up recently and moved to PC and hit 727gs in a month.
