To make the blanking fill black and white in DaVinci Resolve, you can follow these steps: 1. Add the Blanking Fill effect to your clip. 2.On the color page, apply a black-and-white adjustment: Go to the Curves panel and reduce the Saturation to 0. Alternatively, use a Monochrome LUT to quickly make your footage black and white. That should give you the black-and-white effect on the blanking fill! Let me know if you need more help.

If you have Resolve free, then you can't do GPU accelerated H264 or H265 encoding in Resolve. That's a feature of the paid Studio version only.

You need the Studio version of Resolve to get the Nvidia option.

Yes, the Magic Mask feature is available only in the paid version, DaVinci Resolve Studio. 😊

Yeah, it's crazy how they all advertise 10 Gbps, but in reality, you often don’t get that. USB 3.1 GEN2 has a transmission speed of 10 Gbit/s, which should translate to 1250 Megabytes per second! But it seems like most devices or cables don't fully tap into that potential. Maybe a better quality USB connection or cable could make a difference. Have you tried different setups to see if you can get closer to those speeds?

This is bellow average for these type of enclosures. 3.2 Gen 2x2 is 20Gbps and plenty of enclosures max them out. My USB4 one can almost hit the 40Gbps limit with my SSD's max speed (7000MB/s seq write) at 3750MB/s. It's all about having the right enclosure and making sure your controller only handling your enclosure's USB port and no other stuff as well like a webcam or other data intensive applications.

This tutorial was really helpful for me because of how clearly it was explained. Even if the information has been shared before, everyone learns differently, and I appreciate creators who take the time to teach, even if the concepts aren’t brand new. Just my two cents!

The truth is that he is copying what several other KZbinrs are doing and presenting it as if it were his own, the technique used... A quick search on KZbin will show you a bunch of videos teaching the same thing, including ones that are exactly like his, except that the video on the other KZbin is older, in other words, this KZbinr's is a copy... My comment has nothing to do with anything you said, it addresses something else, but it seems that in his rush to be the offended girlfriend he came to attack me... Oh yes, if you can only learn things from this KZbinr, I must say that you have a serious cognitive problem! See a doctor...
