Cv axles are two identical auto axles...either driver or passenger. The 91s dont have the gear for ABS. But, you can re-use that gear if you cant find the correct axle.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the same powertrain setup that was in the Richard Petty edition Pontiac Grand Prix from around that time. Pretty potent engine/transmission combination for an early 90s north American FWD platform. If that engine ever blows, a supercharged 3.8 from like a Bonneville SSE-i would be an awesome swap option. But until then, I would definitely enjoy it in stock form for a long as you can. It was kind of a monster in its own right back in the day. Back in the late 90s I had a '91 Chevy Beretta GTZ that had door handles in the pillars like that. Definitely something different. Gotta say, I loved that car and would love to find another one in decent shape. Also, decent choice on the LED headlight swap. I did the same to all the exterior lights on my '99 SVT Contour (except the 3rd brake light), and the difference it made was, no pun intended, night and day. Also used white/amber switchback LEDs for the front turn signals - really brought the look of the car into this century. It helped a lot that the front signals were behind clear lenses, though. But yeah, man. Beautiful ride! Hope to see more of it.

I'm not to sure about the power train for that Petty edition, it could be unless it was the Turbo Grand Prix when ASC was involved with it. Very limited number of production cars. I have owned 3 other W body cars with the 3.8, definitely a popular swap. The owner I got the car from, was originally gonna convert it as well. I plan to try to keep this motor alive for as long as I can! However, I'm good at wrecking stuff! It is a very unique engine, especially paired with the 5 speed. Its the small stuff that makes the difference, like the basic led bulbs and what's not. The SVT contour has always been a rare and unique vehicle, I can't remember the last time that I saw one! I still want one! I hope to definitely post some content with this car!

Lol, I hear ya! I want to blast the wheels and powder coat them next year. It took forever for painting "Toyo" that's why the rest isn't done lol. It will be wrapped black in silver during the winter and then the Earnhardt stuff will be added to it.

@CarsWithFrank Trifecta was one of the first tunes available in 09. It was a bit limited and I wanted more. The current HP tune has been on it for about 13 years now.

I installed this intake several weeks ago, tbh, i miss the quietness of the stock intake 😅 The whine is constant at 70 mph freeway driving, gets a little annoying.

I plugged it in to where it had to go, had to play with the rubber grommet for a bit while securing it into place.

just bought an 09 already set up with a bigger intercooler and zzp cold air intake. looking to do what i can to increase hp to 300 without a tune what would you say i should do next?

Unfortunately anything that you do will not benefit without a tune, as the ecu has a learn down feature that needs to be unlocked. Intake, exhaust and mild tune would be the best bet.

Try doing a couple full reboots, if that doesn't work. Put all setting back to factory and unmarry. If that doesn't work reach out to Tazer directly, they are helpful with customers!

Pulley has been great, no squeals, or any issues of any sort! Delivers the same power and boost levels. Just not a shitty product like the other one!

@RealBatman-ix5sc I did file down the bracket for the AC pulley a smidge. It comes with the main serpentine belt and the blower belt. Which I prefer in black, and that's what was included. The green belt coating weared away after 2k, and the belt did not aesthetically pleasing any more.

There's a couple different Borla exhaust systems, the Type S is actually quiet with very little drone.

It's been great for the last 5,000kms. No squeals or squeaks and still provides an additional 1.5ish psi of boost at WOT. Overall a better engineered product than Ripatuned.
