Older driver here - husband and I drive from the East Coast to Colorado several times a year to see kids ( love it out there!). I have a lot of friends who won’t drive the interstates anymore because they’re afraid of all the trucks. I tell them that the trucks are the last things they need to worry about, but it’s probably good that they’re not getting out there, because the truckers are scared of them!

This world contains a lot of twisted people… but I have to say that “brake checking” semis holds a fascination for me because … 1. If the offender knew the trucker and it was some kind of vendetta then I get it. 2. If the offender is severely ill above the neckline and isn’t thinking rationally then I get it. 3. If the offender’s sister and or children are being abused by the trucker then I get it. 4. If the offender’s life and or property was put at risk by the road behaviour of the trucker then I get it. 5. If the offender doesn’t know who in hell is in that truck cab and there were no prior incidents between them of any kind then I DON’T GET IT and I’d like to hear SOME SORT OF EXPLANATION from a psychiatrist…. cuz it makes no sense.

I would have loved to ram that SOB. And proudly go to jail. No need for people to act like that. Truckers are trying to make a living. A trucker delivered the car he was driving. And everything else he has. Truckers delivered all. They are some bad truckers. But this trucker wasn't going anything to deserve this treatment.

Im sure the trucker cut him off first of course we dont see that part. COUNTLESS times I have been cut off in the left lane of a major highway by a truck with no signal who couldnt wait 2 seconds for me to pass most truckers in 2023 shouldnt be able to drive a prius let alone a 50k lbs truck

had a lady go around my truck in a circle speeding up, slowing down then flashing a gun so i just crashed into her and said i panicked and ducked when i saw the gun. she got arrested and her dog went to the pound. i bet she didnt expect to be the one getting laughed at by cops.

We also know how truckers take up the entire road for miles: They run side by side at low speeds..They pull into the left lane to pass on UPHILL! Don't just blame the Jeeper.

Problem is Truckers dont care who they change lanes in front of, they do it all the time and hold you up for several minutes, blocking the left lane, barely passing traffic on the right. All the time people use rhe left lane for passing, then inevitability a truck juts into left lane right as you approach and slow you down at least 10mph, causing you to brake hard. I see trucks constantly hog the left lane even when they have plenty of room to get over, I think a lot of them enjoy blocking the road for the rest of us.
