Thank you for this video! I've been wanting to learn setup for awhile now since my jobs have been very manufacturing based. Unfortunately because factory setting is very male based, none of upper managment wants to train. So I've just become a botton pusher with no growth in any of the companies I've worked for. Even though I'm hired on as setup machinist. But I'm sure I'll get there someday! Thanks again for the great video!

your spindle is named something else. and it should be SPOS=. Go to Machine>setup>MD>General>the first 10000 md are axis names S1 or SP2 and so on

@@MrCNC Thanks for answering. I know about PMM/ 3DTwin. I was more interested in things that can`t be done and might be possible if you have the real machine hooked up to R/CMVM. Like sending required tools from the digital twin to the real machine or refreshing my magazine on the digital twin according to the tools placed in the real machine.

Hi, I'm looking for a little help with some programming on Siemens 828D. I'm in the process of writing a program for a bar puller and have hit a snag. I've gotten as far as getting the puller into position and gripping the part and releasing the chuck. The chuck unclamps the part, but that's as far as it goes. It throws up alarms like "Waiting for chuck" and "Chuck open/closed without component." Any idea how to get the machine to accept the open chuck and proceed with the program? Thanks in advance.

This you have to ask the machine tool builder if there is a way to feed or move with the chuck open

heeyy...let me appreciate your efforts, Thanks for uploading videos also thanks for,... in youtube there is no such channel that make detailed videos of nx cam 5 axis setup, programming and post processing. nx cam 5 axis machining for beginners videos are rare in youtube.... make tutorials .....in nx cam make post processor making videos is detail for 5 axis in post configurator.....make videos of different strategies....make more 5 axis part programming. (lets say you hve one part of 5 axis from beginning to end process video is appreciated make 2 3 hours of video ....or lets say in nx cam when you start programming just turn on screen recording and when you done end it and upload just do nothing no need to explain all no efforts will take just upload ....this also helps)

@@MrCNC In my real machine when i take a Rougher I can decide how much to tilt the turret 45° or 135° to also work on the counter spindle. or i can rotate the tool from 0° to 180°.But in the sinutrain i dont have this option.

because that code is not aligning the plane(WCS) that is only moving machine(MCS). MCS vs WCS
