Oregon coast beach dogs are the best! Go Rocky❤! My Malamutes' fav beach is just a few miles South of here: Meyers Creek and the mouth of Pistol River beach...but the entire southern Oregon coast offers a lifetime of dog-beach experiences, adventures...thank you for posting this...we camped at Humbug Mountain SB last week, coming back to Gold Beach noticed this spot...spectacular views to say th least! Enjoy!!!

This is actually Roosevelt Lake Overlook, on the road to Young. Impossible to drive into without high clearance. Dicey during or after rains. HOWEVER: million-dollar views with few (if any) people. Great hikes (no real trails). No water, no toilets, no dumps, no services of any kind for miles and miles.Our frequent fall/spring campsite. Exquisite sunsets.
