On Warlock I described Wulfsige as consistently inconsistent. For a long time I have believed in originators and perfectionists. Those who dare to explore new territory followed by those who develop that territory to it's highest potential. It is a rare thing indeed to discover artists who dare to be both. Stepping into the uncharted without straying from where you started is really something. It leaves me lacking words to properly describe it which is perhaps why you so often inspire me to try, leading me onto ground less travelled in my own writing. IDYLWYLD is yet another of these compositions. At once enchanting and haunting. Elements of hip-hop, metal and more. A contrast that only compliments. This mite be my new favorite.

A difficult year comes to a close. Made memorable by an ever evolving soundtrack from two artists who's creativity accompanied my own through the very best and worst of times. Since stumbling upon dungeon synth the algorithm has broadened my perspective in many ways. Yet of all the artists who have blessed my ears over the last twelve months I can truly claim none of them are quite like you two. Thankyou for the experience, inspiration and for remaining so consistently inconsistent. I appreciate your contribution to music so much.

This is honestly one of the very few dungeon synths I find enjoyable, its very provocative and unique with the audio, I love the chorus, 10/10 I've listened to the whole thing many times over.

The night was clear but the moon was thin, that boundaries were measured in shades of black, or shapes which resist discernment. Twas a sky to remind even the mightiest where we truly are. In relation to the constellations that one may determine when and where they stood. As in relation to our significance and the memory that we ever stood then and there. While stars burned blue and silver for eons before and would continue for ages after. A celestial connection through eternity. A bridge between eyes that would never meet, yet in this frozen moment may know one another as puny. A language of humility understood forever where words would only get in the way.

Now is the time of blood. Now are the days of sacrifice. Now is the end. No king am I, no lord of death nor living warrior. I am Orion. The Age of the Corpse God is begun.

This really fits into a world I've been building, about the fall of a kingdom lost to time and the cruelty of the Queen of Thorns. Her cruelty was so great that it still haunts the lands many ruins and shadows.

man do i wish i had a group of friends, so i could use tabletop RPGs to 'force' regular encounters with my friends, and I could put this on ... I actually take that back, this is too driving for strategy but it's great for action
