Mt Wellington is the highest point (~97 m) but is fully forested. The Pinnacles has the view. Interesting to see the island from a tourists perspective.

Nice video Carl. Carl, could you please answer my question please? When you were on the bush tracks out the back, could you hear the whoosh of traffic? I am investigating Wonthaggi for myself for to buy a home in for ever. I did visit but during a very quiet time. I have no car. If I could hear traffic - at all - whilst walking out the back on the bush tracks, or at the beaches for that matter-where I’ve come for peace and bird sounds- and I could hear that whoosh, I would despair. No use asking real estate agents, for they have a vested interest in underplaying things. Thanking you. Susan

Some years ago, I stayed over at the prison in one of the cells for a few nights, (i paid to do so!!) And actually caught a glimpse of the solitary confinement that I believe was kept a secret to many... and some of the secret surrounding also surrounding the jail...
