There is a mistake in the slide of the DMR the patient’s view will be of incyclopia not excyclopia in case of excyclotorsion.

Hello, good afternoon, I am an ophthalmologist in Argentina and I would like to know if you could provide me with the bibliography of your Power Point to prepare a thesis on Microtropia. You presented a classification of Microtropia with and without identity that interested me. Without further ado, I send my regards.

We already have a word for Laevoversion and it's "Left." We use left for every other version of left in anatomy except during eye anatomy and physiology. This isn't the fault of the Connie Koklanis but eye folk don't try even slightly to make this information easily accessible to people who aren't certified ophthalmologists.

Many cope and/or persevere with unstable binocular vision for sometime however, the manifestations of binocular stress can suddenly flip from a debilitating annoyance to more permanent habitual monocular adaptation if not treated either through traditional VT Eye Exercises or Digital Colour Therapy addressing the vision stress often driven by Screen Fatigue or worse Computer Vision Syndrome you may find yourself stuck with longitudinal traditional eye exercises from eye patching, pencil push-ups, or Brock String methodologies. Enabling reasonable adjustments or accommodations to improve accessibility and reduce vision stress on your digital display screen devices has proven an excellent and more immediate remedial even therapeutic alternative to prolonged standard eye-exercises. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXOyq6lvfcyija8 www.screenrisk.com/

This is diagnostic but does not much relay the person's vision experience in terms of field deficits and how head tilt compensates.

Thank you, doctor. Your explanation was very helpful. But I have a question to ask: is this similar to the facial muscle linkage caused by facial nerve (CN VII) injury? What is the impact of these similar axonal misinnervation regenerations on the recovery of muscle function?

Whenever I look at white text on a black background (but not the inverse) SOME of the text gets blurry or pixelated and sorta jiggle. This does not happen if I cover one eye so it must have something to do with their alignment or perhaps one optic nerve is slower than the other? I also see the white blood cells in my eyes if I look at something white (not just the sky like most people with the blue field entoptic phenomenon), also floaters. Also if I look at something with a fine pattern like a carpet I see static over it, strangely enough, unlike the first thing I mentioned; the static gets amplified if I cover one eye...

Thanks Dr for the great video. In the case of Diplopia in the extreme upward gaze and upward left gaze of left eye that didn’t resolve in 2 weeks, is surgery required?

Hi, my name is Emiliano, I live in Italy. For 4 years I have been practicing exercises for my visual problem, exophoria. I've had good improvements, but I'm still not 100% healed. In January, my doctor told me about variable vectors, which can significantly speed up healing. But in Italy we can't find anyone who has them. The only company that takes these vetograms is located in Milan, but only buys and distributes one every 4/5 months. I believe there is a solution. Someone I can buy these vectors from in the world. What can you do for me? I don't speak English well, I'm using Google. Thank you...

I don’t understand this. If there is suppression in one eye, can’t the other eye also view that object? It is in front of the patient so it should be visible to both eyes and there shouldn’t be missing objects in the vision if atleast one eye is normal. I know this is not true..but I am unable to the correct explanation for this. Please help

Congrats for the presentation! A really nice one :) about i would just suggest to base the diagnosis even upon the clinical findings like visus with crowding (relevant to identify the microtropia with identity) and i would suggest the term secondary only for conditions which are caused by an ocular pathology and like consecutive in case of strabismus following the surgery (but i find the last one not really likely to happen "non a real possible entity".. it is more likely that there was already a microtropia before the surgery with latent component which decompensated and once solved comes again up)

During this if the fovea is identified to be temporal relative to the fixation point why type of microtropia would it indicate?
@AmaanKhan-qd3mq Жыл бұрын
what*
@conniekoklanis Жыл бұрын
@@AmaanKhan-qd3mq This would mean that the patient is eccentrically fixing with a point nasal to the fovea. Typically this corresponds to an eso-deviation.

Won't the base in prism cause more eso deviation
@conniekoklanis Жыл бұрын
A base out prism is required if prisms are prescribed.
