i see alot of drummer fishers on your right for the white water sometimes. how do you find this ledge compared to other northern beaches? is it snaggy? i only ever washed fish here for bream/trev
@Mulgoni4 күн бұрын
The spot is famous for blackfish and drummer as it consists of some good white washes that these fishes favoured. I am not sure what kind of fisher you are but for lures and shore jigging wise I would not go here as it is super shallow and snaggy at the bottom. I would rather go different spot in northern beaches if you want to use lures. But if you are not targeting pelagic fish, this spot can produce good fishes using baits. Hope this helps!

How do you rate the Nessa Rod? What can that model (MH) comfortably cast?
@Mulgoni2 ай бұрын
To be honest, its not 100% made for fishing at the rocks. Nessa’s adventage comes from convenience, lightness and easy to carry as its 3 piece rod. It is essentially made for light shore jigging and more like harbour setting. If you planning to fish at the ledges, I personally don’t recommend this rod. However, nessa itself is a great rod I have been used past two years and never disappointed me with catching bigger fishes. It is strong, light, and durable. It is great option for price as well. My nessa is MH+ which can comfortably cast up to 60g jiggs and 50g plugs. Hope this helps!

Nice video❤ Is it difficult to catch fish with lure (shore jigging) when the summer season ends? What kind of fish can anglers target for during autumn/winter? Thank you so much 🙌🏽
@Mulgoni2 ай бұрын
It is not impossible to catch pelagic fish with the lure in winter, but their activity goes really low and prefers bait in the colder water. You still can catch with lures but you won’t see a lot of fishes. During the winter season I like to do drummer and black fish (luderick) on the rocks or tailors with lures as tailors are more frequently caught during the winter season! If you are big fan of lure fishing maybe wait till tailor seasons to come!

Hi, I’ve been receiving a lot of feedbacks from locals which they were not happy with revealing the spots as it gets too crowded and people fishing on the rocks without the safety gears. I respect the locals opinions and their fishing spots. I am sorry I can’t tell you the exact spot but, it is one of the rocks near palm beach in northern beaches!

Great video, When is the Kingie peak season you think? And how do you cook and eat the bonnies?
@Mulgoni3 ай бұрын
From my past experiences, small rat can be caught any time of the year with baits. However, if you want to use lure, use them during summer months, early November to April for maximum possibility catching big kingie! For the method I cook bonnies, I either pan fry with salt, herbs and lemons or have as sashimi tataki (grill the skin)! Hope this helps!

Making Avoca ledges so accessible was a huge mistake, constantly overfished by people with little to no regards for the environment, other fishermen or their own personal safety.. Learn to swim, learn the rules and learn some respect
@Mulgoni11 ай бұрын
I do agree with you. Some fishermen in Avoca have no awareness on their own safety and do not care the environment. I seen people not wearing any safety gears and risking their life. I hope people fishing at this ledge have some respect and aware what they are doing. Thanks for the comment

@@Mulgoni yea I’m a local from the area and the amount of people that travel hours to fish the ledge blows my mind. On Australia Day there was about 50+ people on the ledge and people camping there. I try to avoid the place now. Sydney has such good ledges I’m so confused why people do the drive here
