Nice Work! And I appreciate your "show me don't tell me" approach.

Does the Felt Low Boy just feel lighter / faster or does it actually weigh less than its leather counterpart?

If you could do videos like these for beginners, but make the notes light up as you are supposed to play them, it would make a world of difference for us beginners.

I been playing DW/PDP for a while. In 2016 I had my first pdp kit. 4 piece maple and a 14x5.5 stainless steel snare. Kit is old yet it’s still good.

Most drummers can’t HEAR the tone nor whether or not it perfectly matches the next lug.

I disagree this is great for beginners. It's $200. There are plenty of e-drum kits in that price range and you would get much better practice out of those. If you absolutely need something smaller and quieter, then you honestly don't have many options to begin with. This might be the only one aside from hitting pillows or something. Even if these things worked flawlessly, I don't think a beginner should start out on them. I could see them getting the hang of these, but then being awkward on a physical kit. They might even have to readjust (or un-learn) habits from using this thing.
