@@thybaker-ed9016 it’s a struggle to be sure!! Budgeting and saving is something that doesn’t come naturally to me, which is why I started posting videos - to keep myself accountable. I started by categorizing my bills and cutting out all extras. you’ve got this!!! I believe if I can do it anyone can! Just remember your budget is going to look different than anyone else’s. Also don’t compare where you are in your budget journey to anyone else! What you see now isn’t usually where a budgeter started.

It’s 2024. No one pays bills with cash on the table. We use debit cards. It would be thousands not a couple hundred. Get with 2024.

How do you accumulate your funds for your penny challenge. Do you just keep all the change you get from purchases? I really enjoy watching all your videos.

Hi! Thanks! 😊 Yes, I just keep all the change from purchases and if I throw money into my wallet or purse instead of putting it back in its envelope I use that as well. Funny thing is, I’ve found myself deliberately creating change this last year cause I want to see the penny challenge grow. I doubt I would have as much change on a weekly basis if I wasn’t doing the challenge.

Yeah! I’m not sure why I decided I needed to put the money back. Life has decided to give me a very quick do over and I’m approaching it differently this time. 2024 has become the year of big expenses with little savings. So grateful for the ability to pay for the unexpected with cash and not credit ❣️
