I'm so intrigued to see this! Howard Johnson and I used to have the "piston vs. rotary valve" conversation all the time. He was very much in favor of Piston valves and, as a tubist, he had the option to choose. I've wanted to try a piston Horn especially for jazz playing for a long time!
