@DrKarenThames Last time I checked empathy doesn't pay my bills, Empathy doesn't go to the gym for me, and empathy doesn't solve my problems. Most things in life that are good for us we tend not to "feel" like doing... What's happing is you're putting too much emphasis on feelings rather than results. I don't "feel" like getting up for work, but the result is I get to pay my bills. I don't. "Feel" like pay my bills but the result is I get to build stability. I don't "feel" like going to the gym but the result is a healthy body. In conclusion, the world doesn't care how you feel. The world cares about results. That is the truth of our reality.

I felt horrible about it, too, until I found out that I suffered from a rare life-threatening illness that causes rapid unexplained and unwarranted weight gain. Turns out that cats and dogs can get that same illness in a strange turn of events. I bet my cat eats less than yours! It's funny how these videos weed out the most judgemental, uninformed people. @@DrKarenThames I’m aware I’m judgmental, that was the point of the comment. Cushings can be managed. I’ve worked with multiple animals of multiple species with cushings that have not been obese. I am a vet tech. Hypothyroidism, cushings, and eating disorders can all occur within animals and management of these diseases falls on the human/s and vet team caring for them.

That's my entire point! I am looking for a competent vet to treat her! That being said, if you think that managing Cushing’s is just a matter of a quick treatment plan, you are SO wrong! I feel really bad for your patients, honestly. I almost DIED from Cushing’s! And I know many friends whose dogs and cats also died of Cushing’s. Please buy a clue! But, again, have a blessed day! I pray that you are never affected by something so horrid as this disease! By the way, you shamed me but you NEVER offered any encouragement or guidance at what I can do to manage it. Real nice!
