I have been hoping to convert my Ender 3 v2 to a plotter/cutter for a long time. Maybe this will finally get me to try and do it. I am sure there must be lots of old Ender 3D printers gathering dust these days, something like this could save many of them from becoming landfill. Subscribed :)

Sorry to say I'm not clear which one you're talking about between "cables" and "rotation range" 😢 but I think the answer should be the same for both. Since the circuitries were too big to get into the fixed base, it's on the rotating frame and the cable is moving together with it, which keeps from infinitely panning. Maybe I could make another video on fixing this later on 😀

i just wondered if the cable is longer so i use camera for other purposes; is it 16 wire-cable?

Ah, I see. That's a Raspberry Pi Camera. It's a genuine accessory from RPi manufacturers. So you may search RPi Camera cable, and you'll get a bunch of products, either genuine or compatible ones. I guess you'll be able to find ones with meters of length. FYI the camera has 15 pins.

@@TheMechanic3000 I had put some motors and belt things in my shopping cart…I was going to try to think through some concepts myself. I have a “Disney” monorail that I set up in village that was battery powered but it was so loud so didn’t turn on. I just set it up as a visual interest.
