Hi, Thanks for your video on this. I had a question which is troubling me a bit. Should the average gain be calculated not for 14 days but for the days when gain happened ? E.g. If 5 out of 14 days had positive movement, the denominator should be 5 and not 14 ? I am thinking correctly on this ?

i standardize all my stocks with the 1st flat linear regression or logarithmic regression then i use the obv to find growth and then market cap for allocating weight. i do about 2% entering bet and about 5% max bet..... im fascinated by this gator oscillator because there is a sine wave to trading that is very representative of this shape like a sine wave but also sort of coca cola shaped.

on charles schwab i prefer weighted moving average its more responsive than the ema. wma is more sensitive then ema then sma. good video. i just found gator osciallator today on yahoo with advanced charts where we can play with the settings.

This is really interesting. I tested this out on XOM weekly closing prices, and you basically ended up with the same amount as you had started with, vs the holding strategy which made one rich! Wonder what the underlying differences are in the nature of the price movements between XOM and S&P500 that lead to these different results. Lots to explore here.
