As long as teachers keep their politics, their cultural/gender/sexual issues and their religion out of the classroom and off the curriculum and educate ONLY as the LOCAL Parents wish, I support them. When they step over those bounds I have absolutely NO use for them and will do everything I can to have them removed from the profession of education. Given immunity, I would do far worse than that. Teachers hold a special, seminal and intimate responsibility and relationship with our children. Therefore, they must bear a more robust scrutiny, so that Parents may maintain their faith in the educators that work for them, THE PARENTS..

In ethiopia, kids look foward to going to school and learning. I find it sad how our education system has made school an institution that kids despise and avoid. Maybe I would have more respect for the content of what I learn if the school system didn't jam it down my throat.
