How many time did you charge it in the 496.5 miles? you would have to subtract what 20miles for each charge right?

How does the lift affect the warranty? Any issues?

Great video I have questions.😊 1.) Thank you for pulling it out and showing that the tray has two index locations, half and fully extended out of the vehicle. How far out does it extend? 2.) regarding The rating of 400lbs Does that apply at full extension, half extension or only when fixed in the interior. 3.) The small opening you showed at the rear of the tray was difficult to see because it was pushed back into the vehicle. It would have been good to showcase that compartment while the cargo area was fully extended out. I say this because I never knew it existed and I was very intrigued to learn more. 4.) in speaking with my dealer they told me that this is a factory option and not something that is added at the port of entry. Can you verify that this is an after market add-on assembled upon arrival from Japan at the port or the dealer? 5.) your presentation was very helpful and showcased exactly the leveling of the full rear cargo area with the seats folded down. This is exactly what I needed to know.

Thank you for watching. The weight limit of 200 kg or 440 lbs is at full extension. At half extension, it comes out about 11”. At full extension it is around 17.5”. I have heard that Canadian dealerships can order the kit (from other subscribers) but it is expensive.

Did you drill the risers/piping for the plywood to the floor or have the turnbuckles alone kept things pretty stable? I'm looking at options to keep my Dometic more stable without drilling into the vehicle and this looks promising
@soaringeagleoutdoors
@soaringeagleoutdoors 2 ай бұрын
I did not. What I did is attach some anchor points (600 # rated - Husky makes some - Home Depot) and then I used some turn buckles to connect and tighten down the plywood to the factory anchor points. I then secure the fridge to the plywood. I have done some moderate trails with this setup without any problem.

I was looking for scenes of a road up around this area which has a very steep drop-off. I have been on that stretch of road and I thought its name had "Paradise" in it, but I might be mistaken. It is in that area, not far from Crested Butte. I saw that one of my friends who has moved to Minnesota was on what looked like the stretch of road I'm thinking of, but I wanted to ask her if it IS that stretch...and can't remember its name. Maybe you know.

Just want to give you a heads up. It's best to keep the hood closed when you're running your compressor. Opening the hood on the 4XE shuts off charging to the 12v battery and starts the engine as a safety precaution. You can end up draining your 12v this way if you pull enough power. Instead keep your hood closed so the IDCM module maintains charge to your 12v battery since we don't have an alternator on our engines like a traditional vehicle would. All the charging is coming from the high voltage battery to the 12v so we don't want to stop that while running the compressor.

I bought a different brand does your lift gate glass hit it when you open it? I have several buddies who have that same rack you have, and they have all said that there lifts gate glass hits the rack! So unless they adjust it to the very front of the tire or as far from the glass as possible it’s going to hit. How much weight dose your rack say it supports? Dose your rack need a HD tire hanger to support the weight of items it holds? Thanks for the reply and looks good on your Jeep!

I do have the tailgate reinforcement because I have the oversizemtirea. I am not sure how much weight it can carry, but in,eep it less than 30 lbs I have to be careful and open it all the way or it will have a glass hit

What I used to do is get the precooked meals and use them. I forget the braqnd name, but now the same product is the Hormel "Completes". Precooked, sealed, works very well. Not THE answer, but great in combination with other foods. Furthermore, get a vacuum sealer. Rival makes a good one. Instead of using the ziplock bags, which even the freezer bags are temperature sensitive, you have a more heavy duty plastic bag. Put the meal in it, vacuum seal it, and when you're ready you cut the end off and add water. Stir well & then, using a binder clip, close it somewhat and put it upright in a pan of water. Bring the water to a boil, and you're now heating your meal. You can fix an entire dinner this water and not waste drinking water as regular creek water can be used to boil as you're not consuming the creek water.
