Are they still engage in the manufacture of this engine and or motorbike.Way back my early childhood ,I' ve seen a bike made of Zundapp here in the Philippines year 1966. A great bike ,durable.

Reminds me of when my grandmother pulled that funny little table from the corner, unfolded it and to my surprise showed me that it was a peddle powered sewing machine. I thought she was just showing me something old but then she started using it! I couldn't believe it worked. She said it works as fine as the day it was made.

Dumb question.... why did you modify to a two carburettor system? The original is with one carb in the middle over the gearbox.

Mein Opa hat von der 800 geschwärmt. Hatte sie als Kradmelder im Krieg. Nur die Kühlung der hinteren Zylinder bei Kolonnenfahrt war schlecht. Es kam wohl oft zu Klemmern.

@@christianeflohr9053 so weit ich weiss hatte die 800 4 Zylinder. 2 auf jeder Seite hintereinander. Die recht ähnliche K600 hatte nur 2. Ich kenne es auch nur aus Erzählungen. Man findet aber Schnittmodelle in der Bildersuche.

na pewno nie pierwsze po 68 latach ale silniczek ładny. Widać, że ciepły chwilę wcześniej przed nagraniem odpalany. Bez tych ohydnych tłumików o wiele ładniej pracuje. Bardzo podobnie jak mój Ural.
