i just had this visceral memory of this performance & googled it assuming it definitely does not exist online. & holy shit, it does. i was in one of the bands that competed with you, & i was such a big primus fan. but one of the categories was "originality" & the judges didn't realize what you were doing. so we were mad you beat us! 😅

My memory is fuzzy, but I don't recall him playing Trumpet. I did though. I'm Paul. I was there that night, but I don't see me in frame, I must have had to run. I think starting the following year, Bart, Mike and I played in a separate jazz orchestra together. Aaand I vaguely recall that particular tall guy was a Chris? I think he didn't like me or something.

That mural was painted earlier in the fall of that year. Before it was brown and gold themed, making it look like it was painted in the 70s or something...I think it was like football players or something.

@@TriangleFilms True, but times have really changed. This is coming from a incoming freshman, but the school is torn to pieces now. Some sections of the building are literally open too. They have been remodeling since early 2021.

Yea they just remodeled everything. My sister goes there now and the school is completely different and way bigger inside and outside. I miss the old look

Oh it was awful then too. Just 2 years earlier there was a slow news day and a fight got out of hand, by the time it had gotten through the roomer mill, the NATIONAL news was saying the phrase "race war"

Thanks so much, awesome of you to say. We had thrown around the idea of making Solved 2: Son of Solved...not sure if it's going to happen though. I personally am not a speedsolver (my average is a minute and a half haha), but Rowe's time (the speedsolver in the movie) was around 7 seconds at one point I think?
